I will have to say Nora's latest romance/suspense had slipped my mind as I normal..."

This one was a really good one, especially the audiobook.

Thrilled you're loving this series.

Thrilled doesn't begin to describe the experience of reading Outlander for the first time. I was hooked pretty quickly but I must say, after about 50%, it kicks into a higher gear. Can not put it down!

donna (donnahag) | 51 comments I have The Outlanderz but haven't touched it yet. Should I?

I'm loving it. I only meant to read a little to get a headstart on it since it's such a long book. I will post it as a buddy read for August if it doesn't win our monthly read poll. Either way - this will be a good one for discussions for sure.

I'm not familiar with that book or author, Maggie. I'll have to check that book out.

LOL Dawn...I think we've determined you don't do anything "slow"! I'm not surprised you've already read them all. :)

message 1563: by Dawn (new)

Dawn | 3250 comments Lmao! Yes, I really did. I even tried to break it up with an audiobook from a different series, but just went right back to them...and OMG what a cliffhanger she has left me with! There is absolutely no doubt I will be finishing it.

Now I'm wondering if I want to see some of the heartbreaking scenes on the screen! And how they will depict them.

message 1581: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Hoover (sandrahoover) | 11218 comments Mod
OH! Off to find the trailers...And seriously y'all - I'm having withdrawal symptoms after finishing Outlander. Can't get my head in another book. I may just turn around and read it again. The way I flew through the latter part, I'm sure there's plenty of new stuff for me to discover.

I can, too, Sandra. Really nice casting. If you've got some time, go to Diana Gabaldon's site and listen to some of the fan event video. It's amazing how much he even sounds like Jamie.

message 1586: by Dawn (new)

Dawn | 3250 comments This is how I end up devouring entire series in record time...I went straight into Dragonfly in Amber

13 days! I am subscribing to Starz during the season only. Of course, that is really why they are splitting it lol
