I've been wondering if I should try Triptych as it's the first in the Will Trent series. Let me know what you think.

I really liked Triptych. Though it's a little slow getting into it has a huge payoff. Hope you can stick with it.
I sure will...I wanted to read this series because I loved the Grant County Series and some of the books will intersect with the grant county series
thanks Jonetta, sticking with it wont be a problem. its a little slow but I really like Karin slaughters writing so I figure it will pick up
Quynh wrote: "I started The King, nice to be back with the brothers."According to my tracking info, I should get The King by Friday. In the meantime, I'll pick-up something from the library to tie me over.
Finished Missing You by Harlan Coben. Loved it and here's my review
I'm now reading Turned by Virna DePaul.
I'm now reading Turned by Virna DePaul.
Listening to The Color of Heaven by Julianne Maclean. This is a very good book, really not my usual style, but am really enjoying it.
just finished TripTych and even with the slow start it turned out to be a great book. now I am on to book 2 Fractured
Jonetta, thank you for telling me to stick with it....it was well worth it. ok course as soon as it came out that Michael was the cousin I knew how it was honna turn out. looking forward to the next book
I am reading (listening to)
. Got to about the 4th chapter and I've just stalled...Also reading
to finish out a series I've been working on for awhile now.
I picked up my copy of
Thursday afternoon at the library, and was done by Friday. (Didn't too much else - LOL!!) I just devour these books. I do love the Brothers. However, I think the language they use is just stupid. Why do all of the brothers have to use that stupid language. True?
I'm currently reading Rock Chick Rescue
by Kristen Ashley and Flat-Out Sexy
by Erin McCarthy. I'm really enjoying both of them. I keep switching back and forth because I can't decide which one I would rather read.
It took me forever to finish Turned and now I'm seriously off schedule. I'm reading Four Friends by Robyn Carr and then I'll start our book of the month.
Finished reading
last night. Just too good. (I barely paid any attention to the Mariners!) Also, started
by Samuel R. Delany which I am reading for my Yahoo! Science Fiction book club. I had to use interlibrary loan to get it (from the University of Puget Sound). I'm listening to
for a Buddy Read.
I finished Guarding Suzannah by Norah Wilson and enjoyed it. Here's my review.
I'm now reading Die For Me by Karen Rose.

I have been wanting to read Die for me even checked it out once but never got to it...let me know how you like it
I don't know about that Die For Me, but I've thought this one looks interesting:
I'm reading
for a sci-fi book club. So far, so average. This one is much better science fiction:

@ Quynh - Because I know you loved The Scribe as I did & are waiting on The Singer, I will say I think you will love it. My heart is still racing after finishing it and I'm now dying to get my hands on the next one. I'll write my review as soon as I can get control of my emotions! 5 stars
Jonetta, I have read some of the series but then I had stopped but I dont remember which book I stopped with because it has been awhile. I had checked out the next 2 or 3 for that series but something happened and ended up taking the books back to the library. I think that was when I got hooked on the Eve Duncan series by iris johansen and forgot about the other books

Quynh - the bad news is that Elizabeth told me that she's doing a book for another of her series next...probably won't start writing the 3rd one in this series (Irin Chronicles) until fall. :(

Does The Singer end on a cliffhanger? I'm sure I'll enjoy it enough to do a re-read before book 3 release anyway.

Not a cliffhanger in the way that you want to scream...I was satisfied with the ending - you get some answers in the book but it also raises a lot more questions. Things are really escalating & a war is breaking out...there is danger everywhere. You'll be happy with the ending - and then there's the epilogue. That's what made me want to beg for book 3! She is a master writer of UF with a big dose of suspense & just the right amount of romance.
