Kirsten (kmcripn) I've been wondering if I should try Triptych as it's the first in the Will Trent series. Let me know what you think.

I really liked Triptych. Though it's a little slow getting into it has a huge payoff. Hope you can stick with it.

According to my tracking info, I should get The King by Friday. In the meantime, I'll pick-up something from the library to tie me over.

Kirsten (kmcripn) I picked up my copy of The King (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #12) by J.R. Ward Thursday afternoon at the library, and was done by Friday. (Didn't too much else - LOL!!)

I just devour these books. I do love the Brothers. However, I think the language they use is just stupid. Why do all of the brothers have to use that stupid language. True?

Kirsten (kmcripn) Finished reading Guarding Suzannah (Serve and Protect, #1) by Norah Wilson last night. Just too good. (I barely paid any attention to the Mariners!) Also, started Nova by Samuel R. Delany by Samuel R. Delany which I am reading for my Yahoo! Science Fiction book club. I had to use interlibrary loan to get it (from the University of Puget Sound). I'm listening to Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen for a Buddy Read.

message 984: by Kirsten (new)

Kirsten (kmcripn) I don't know about that Die For Me, but I've thought this one looks interesting: Die For Me A Novel of the Valentine Killer (For Me, #1) by Cynthia Eden

I'm reading Dante's Equation by Jane Jensen for a sci-fi book club. So far, so average. This one is much better science fiction: Nova by Samuel R. Delany

@ Quynh - Because I know you loved The Scribe as I did & are waiting on The Singer, I will say I think you will love it. My heart is still racing after finishing it and I'm now dying to get my hands on the next one. I'll write my review as soon as I can get control of my emotions! 5 stars

Sheri Morell (smorell22) | 2165 comments Jonetta, I have read some of the series but then I had stopped but I dont remember which book I stopped with because it has been awhile. I had checked out the next 2 or 3 for that series but something happened and ended up taking the books back to the library. I think that was when I got hooked on the Eve Duncan series by iris johansen and forgot about the other books

Quynh - the bad news is that Elizabeth told me that she's doing a book for another of her series next...probably won't start writing the 3rd one in this series (Irin Chronicles) until fall. :(

Aww. Does The Singer end on a cliffhanger? I'm sure I'll enjoy it enough to do a re-read before book 3 release anyway.

Not a cliffhanger in the way that you want to scream...I was satisfied with the ending - you get some answers in the book but it also raises a lot more questions. Things are really escalating & a war is breaking out...there is danger everywhere. You'll be happy with the ending - and then there's the epilogue. That's what made me want to beg for book 3! She is a master writer of UF with a big dose of suspense & just the right amount of romance.
