This was the picture that the story needed to be about.

Here is what I wrote:

Aspen the Golden Retriever daydreamed while chewing on a toy. He was thinking about the days when he was a puppy and had littermates to play with all day. Although he currently lived with a large family and enjoyed it, he missed his puppy days. Why? Because on most days, in the afternoon all the humans left for hours and there was no one for him to play with.
The star appeared later that night and when one of his humans saw it and told him that by making a wish on the star whatever he wished for might come true, Aspen perked up his ears. Then looking up at the star thoughtfully he wondered Taking the chance Aspen silently wished for a playmate.
That night a stray, but well fed, orange cat also saw the star and made a wish. His wish was for a home.
A week later Aspen's owners decided he needed a playmate of some kind and took him to the nearest animal shelter to find one. Although the plan was to get a dog, Aspen took a special interest in the cats. One in particular caught his attention. It was a slightly overweight, orange cat. That night the family came home with a new cat.
A month later the star reappeared. Aspen and the cat, now called Pumpkin, were both sitting together outside when it did. Looking up both animals silently thanked the star for granting their wish.

Jennifer Priester (jenniferpriester) The Picture:

For this one I decided to write a new story based on characters I already had created. You may recognize the name of Levi in my story, who's character is based off the real Levi. So with that said, here's my story:

“Levi, I’m ready!” Dillon said.
“Finally!” Levi replied eagerly, “Where did you hide them?”
Dillon Laughed, “That’s what you have to find out!” Dillon had just hidden a bunch of small carrots somewhere around the barn.
Dillon was a superhero called Wonder Wolf. Levi was her horse and also a superhero called Wonder Horse. Finding the carrots was a training game Dillon came up with to teach Levi to think, so she placed the carrots where she thought Levi would have to work to get them.
“I found them!” Levi said excitedly pushing his nose into a small tree crack.
“Levi, wait! You won’t…fit?” Dillon was surprised when Levi managed to get his whole head into the small space. The horse was now happily crunching the carrots.
Upon finishing Levi found out he had a small problem. he thought to himself hoping his problem wasn’t obvious.
“So Levi, are you planning on coming back out soon?” Dillon asked casually. She had noticed.
“I’ll be out in a moment.” Came Levi’s muffled reply. Levi pushed at the tree trunk with his hooves. Suddenly the crack split further. Levi quickly pulled his head out. “That was easy.” He said.
“Oh, so should I make it harder next time?” Dillon asked teasingly.
“Uh…” Levi replied hesitantly.
Dillon laughed and gave her horse a hug. “Maybe we should practice something else for a while,” she said.
“Fly?”
“Only if we do two things; wear our costumes and…”
“What?” Levi asked.
“Avoid trees.”

They are really good short stories. :)

The humour in the last one had me laughing a little chuckle, too.

Thanks. I tried to add humor to the last one because the real Levi is always making me laugh so any story he is in needs to have it.
