Julia Horan | 598 comments Full Name: Connor Tommo
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Personality: On first glance Connor seems very shy. While this is true, once he gets to know people, he's a really sweet and funny guy. He's also become quite self concious, ever since he came out as gay. He's been picked on for it, so he doesn't trust easy anymore. Despite this, he's naïve and he's gotten heart broken more than once. Connor is also a smart kid, that does take school seriously, and he's never really one to disrespect a teacher or skip school. Another thing he likes about school is hockey. He doesn't seem like the sporty type until he gets on the ice. Then he's a whole different person. Overall, Connor is a reserved kid, but when you give him a chance, he's a real sweetheart.
Appearance:
History: Connor was born in Ireland. He lived there up until this last summer. When he was 14, his dad walked out on him and his mum. Over the years, his mum had trouble finding work and once the school year came to an end, Connor and his mum packed everything and moved to America.
Family:
Biological Mum: Anne Simpson
Other: has an Irish accent (;
Also plays varsity hockey for the high school team

SYNCHRONIZED DAAANCE!!!! Ahh, the Irish. XP

Name: Brian Jackson
Age: 16
Personality: He's sweet and compassionate at times, but he can be really stubborn and sarcastic as well. He's also really opinionated and doesn't take any crap from anybody.
Appearance: Short, brown hair and sea-green eyes. He's about 6'0 and between lean and well-built.
History: Brian is a pretty open book, but he has one secret that he does a good job of hiding; he's secretly gay. Brian has heard all the horror stories about what could potentially happen if someone admits that they're gay, and he's terrified of anyone finding out.
Brian lives in a with his mom, who's a doctor. His father and older sister died in a car accident when he was eleven, and he had a twin brother who recently committed suicide due to bullying. He has a younger brother who's ten, and Brian is fiercely protective over him and his mother. Brian's a fairly social and laid-back guy, but due to how his brother died, he has a strict 'no-bullying' policy. He sees anyone getting tormented for any reason, Brian makes sure to put a stop to it as soon as possible.

Julia Horan | 598 comments Could you please ? (:

SYNCHRONIZED DAAANCE!!!! (Sure. X))

Brian sighed and leaned back in his chair as his math teacher droned on about fractions or something like that. Brian tried paying attention-he really did-but math was the one subject where he slacked off a lot on; Adam, his brother, had been the math whiz-not Brain. At the thought of his brother, Brian felt a lump form in his throat, and he swallowed hard, trying to clear his head of unwanted memories. He sighed and leaned forward again, propping his chin in his hand as he tried tuning in to whatever it was that his teacher was rammbling about.

message 12: by Julia Horan (new)

Julia Horan | 598 comments Connor scribbled down the math notes in his notebook every now and then when his teacher would mention something that was actuallyworth writing down. Most of this lesson was just pointless stuff, stuff Connor had learned a few years ago. Math was one of his stronger subjects, but that doesn't mean he enjoys it in the slightest. He actually found math quite boring, but he forced himself to stay focused and pay attention. Something his mum required of him is good grades, so he did it for her. Otherwise, he'd happily just slack off and zone out. But, he couldn't.

SYNCHRONIZED DAAANCE!!!! After what seemed like forever, the bell finally rung, signaling the end of class and the beginning of lunch. Yawning, Brian stood, stretching. His friend Matt walked up to him and slapped his back. "Look sharp." he told Brian. "You look like the walking dead." Brian chuckled. "I feel like the walking dead." he murmured, slinging his backpack over his shoulder as he and Matt started to make their way out of the classroom.

Julia Horan | 598 comments As soon as the bell rang, Connor scribbled down the bell then stood up and shoved his school supplies into his backpack, eager to get out of the math class. Thankfully he had lunch next. He had skipped breakfast this morning because he was late, and he was starting to regret that decision. He made a quick stop at his locker, exchanging some books for others.

SYNCHRONIZED DAAANCE!!!! Brian and Matt headed towards the lunchroom, walking towards their regular table. The people already sitting there looked up, calling out greetings. Brian smiled as he sat. He couldn't help but glance over at the table Adam used to alwas sit; it was unoccupied now. He swallowed the lump that once again formed in his throat. Several times, Brian tried to get Adam to sit with him, but he always refused. "Popular kids cramp my style." he had always said with a sly smile. Brian had sat with him a couple times, but Adam had always seemed distant, not really wanting to talk. Now he knew why. Brian shook his head slightly and forced a smile as Matt made a comment, though he didn't hear what it had been. All Brian was wanting to do was finish the school day and go home, help his mom cook dinner, maybe play a videogame with his little brother, Jacob. But most of all, he wanted to stop thinking about Adam.

Julia Horan | 598 comments At Connor's locker, waited his two best friends: Katie and Danny. Katie is pretty, with medium length brown hair that her pale complexion complemented nicely. She could be popular but she's quite... Odd to say the least. Her clothing choice is questionable by most, but neither Connor nor Danny cared. Danny is a really funny guy who can make just about anyone laugh. Once, Connor was done at his locker, the three of them went to the cafeteria, where they took their normal seat near the middle of the cafeteria. Which was also the loudest part, much to Connor's dislike. The three of the took out their lunch and started eating and talking about their day so far.

SYNCHRONIZED DAAANCE!!!! Brian took out his lunch, but he wasn't feeling very hungry anymore. Matt nudged him. "Brian, what's wrong, man?" he asked looking slightly concerned. Everyone else turned their gazes to look at Brian. He fidgeted uncomfortably, giving a nervous chuckle. "Nothing, nothing." he said, pushing his lunch away. "I'm...just not really hungry." He stood suddenly. "I...have to go to my locker." he said suddenly. "I...forgot a book for my next class." He left before anything else cold be said, leaving behind stunned silence.

message 18: by Julia Horan (new)

Julia Horan | 598 comments Katie, who was sitting across from Connor, kicked him gently from underneath the table. Connor looked at her. "You know a simple 'hey Connor' would work fine. You don't have have to kick me every time you need something," he said. She rolled her eyes. "Yeah, whatever. Can I see your Chemistry homework?" She asked. "It's in my locker,' he replied, simply. "Can you get it?" She asked. He was about to say no, but decided to just give. "Yeah, fine. I'll be back in a few," he said.

SYNCHRONIZED DAAANCE!!!! Brian walked briskly down the hallway, though he had no clue as to where he wanted to go; all he knew was that he just wanted away from the suffocating lunchroom. He wound up heading into the boy's restroom. Peering underneath stalls in order to make sure that noone was there, Brian turned on the sink, splashing water onto his face. Looking up into the mirror, he didn't see just /his/ face reflected back at him; he saw Adam's as well, looking sad and lonely. Blinking rapidly, Brian was relieved when Adam's reflection disappeared. And it also left him feeling hollow. He missed his brother like crazy, and he couldn't help but blame himself for his death. Had he only tried harder, listened more...Brian splashed his face again before turning off the sink and grabbing a towel to dry off his face. Then he exited the bathroom, but he didn't really want to go back to the lunchroom, so he ended up wandering the hallways, not really paying attention to his surroundings, deep in thought.

message 20: by Julia Horan (new)

Julia Horan | 598 comments Connor walked out of the lunch room and started towards the other end of the school. He wandered throughout the hallways, taking his time. There wasn't really anyone else walking around the school. Everyone else was either in lunch or in class, so Connor practically had the hallways to himself. He eventually made it to his locker. He put in his combination, having to attempt it a few times. The lockers in Ireland were different, and he was still getting used to these lockers. After a few tries, he successfully opened his locker, grabbing his chemistry binder. He skimmed through the papers, finally finding the homework from the previous night. He unclipped it from the binder and closed up the binder. He shoved it back into his over flowing locker. It took some effort, but he was able to slam it shut. He was now on the long way back to the cafeteria. He felt a little surprised when he saw someone else at the end of the hallway. Upon getting closer, he realized it was a guy.

SYNCHRONIZED DAAANCE!!!! Brian was walking with his head down, his hands shoved into his pockets. He was in such deep thought that he failed to notice that somebody else was walking towards him. That it, until he ran right into him. Brian stumbled backwards slightly. "Ah! Sorry about that." he muttered, instinctively reaching a hand out to whoever it was that he had run into. "I wasn't paying attention."

message 22: by Julia Horan (new)

Julia Horan | 598 comments Connor was distracted ny all the things posted in the hallway he forgot about the other person he had just seen moments ago. Before he could react, he bumped into another person. Instinctively he apologized. "Sorry. I wasn't watching where I was going. Next time ill remember to not read and walk and pay attention instead," he rambled quickly and kind of nervously. "Sorry," he repeated. As he looked at the guy he recognised him from his grade and they shared a few classes together.

SYNCHRONIZED DAAANCE!!!! Brian looked down at the boy in slight amusement as he rambled. "Hey, don't worry about it." he said kindly with a small smile. "I wasn't paying any attention either." He tilted his head as he studied him; he looked familiar. "Hey, don't we share a few classes together?" he asked. "You're the new kid, aren't you? Connor something?"

message 24: by Julia Horan (new)

Julia Horan | 598 comments Connor smiled slightly as well. He seemed nice. "Yeah. I think we have math and gym together or something like that," he said. That sounded about right. "Yeah, that's me. And you're... Brian, right?" He asked, after taking s moment to remember his name. He was so bad with names.

SYNCHRONIZED DAAANCE!!!! Brian nodded. "Yeah, I think you're right." he said. He looked over at him with a small smile. "And yeah, it's Brian." he confirmed. He held his breath slightly, waking for Conner to ask "Are you the same Brian who's brother committed suicide a few months ago?" Anybody he'd ever talked to for the first time always asked that, and he was desperately hoping that Conner was different; he hated having to answer that question.

message 26: by Julia Horan (new)

Julia Horan | 598 comments So it was Brian, Connor was pretty sure that was his name but he wasn't positive. Katie, when he first moved here, had gone through about half the student body, and told Connor about each of them. So, Connor was quite aware Brian's brother had committed suicide not too long ago. He decided against asking him that, though. Connor hated it when people asked about his dad, so it must be even worse for him to be asked about his deceased brother. Instead he asked, "So why are you wandering around the hallway?"

SYNCHRONIZED DAAANCE!!!! Brian blinked, slightly surprised that Conner hadn't asked him about Adam, but he was grateful, too. He gave an almost sheepish chuckle at Conner's question. "Um...Just...felt like it." he answered. "What about you?"

message 28: by Julia Horan (new)

Julia Horan | 598 comments Connor smiled a bit when Brian laughed. He liked it when people laughed. "That's fun," he nodded. "I was just getting some homework for my friend," he added, holding up the paperwork in his hand.

SYNCHRONIZED DAAANCE!!!! Brian smiled slightly. "Ah. I have several friends like that." he said. "I sometimes feel like not doing homework out of self-defense." he joked, his small smirk turning into a wide grin. He didn't know why, but something about Connor made Brian feel comfortable. Relaxed, even. Not many people had that affect on Brian.

message 30: by Julia Horan (new)

Julia Horan | 598 comments Connor laughed. "Most of my friends are like that," he said. "And then when I don't do my homework, they don't have it either," he said, chuckling softly. "It's quite obnoxious.

SYNCHRONIZED DAAANCE!!!! Brian shook his head with a soft chuckle. "That's life for you." he said quietly. "All your friends expect you to do both your homework /and/ theirs, yet they never have it done when you need it." He gave a 'What can you do?' shrug.

message 32: by Julia Horan (new)

Julia Horan | 598 comments "I know right? Story of my life right there," Connor agreed with a nod. "I need to find smarter friends," he said. He was joking, of course, his friends were smart enough. For the most part.

SYNCHRONIZED DAAANCE!!!! Brian gave another chuckle. "Yeah, you said it." he agreed jokingly. Then he fell silent, not sure of what else to say. He fidgeted slightly, shifting the weight from foot to foot.
