Thanks, Allen. Since Kraken will be pretty much our last "big" Mièville novel (unless the man hurries up and has another one published soon), I think that one is going to feel rather emotional for me.
I can't imagine a world in which there's no more CM left to explore!

Anyway, so thanks, I'll make work of it to publish/send out a schedule this weekend.

I wonder if one could send him fan mail, or something, and up the pressure. Authors have always had to deal with fan-mail but these modern ones seem above it when they're not the kind getting into tussles with their readers.

I mean, in the 1890's already they got hate mail. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle received hate mail and even physical abuse from the public for killing Sherlock Holmes.
