Lisa Kay wrote: "We can checked them out for you Ash. Are you starting from the beginning?"Yep! Thanks, LK! I just stumbled across them at a used book store and picked them up, but if they don't work I'll wait to read them for when we aren't in a challenge :)
Lisa Kay wrote: "Claire, are all the book in one binding? If so, no problem at all, as we checked this in Round I."No, they're all individual. I'm pretty sure I used The Magician's Nephew and The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe in Round I.... And I'm 90% sure I checked all my editions to see if they were over the limit...
I'd have to double check, but I believe we checked the non-illustrated versions of Narnia in Round I and they were fine.I'll have to get back to you on this, everyone. ...or maybe Countess Paige will.
Lisa Kay, Whenever you have a chance, can you double check page numbers for
by Roz Lee. Amazon shows it as 169 pages, so its close enough to fall under or over the min. page limit. Smashwords is showing approx. word count of 61,137. I don't think the kindle edition has been created in GR in relation to this book. paperback is 168 pagesThanks
= 61,137 word count = 245 pages (rounded up). I did enter the Kindle version, with is only 169 pages. It would covert back to that when they do their massive update anyway. Hina, if you need the 245 page count - per word count, just refer whoever to this post.

I just get nervous with books that have such different numbers, so I like to double check.

Hi Lisa Kay, I started reading that book, and on my ipad kindle is showing page count of 159. Please tell me what to do.
HI LK! I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I can't seem to find wordcount on WorldCat or Ingram. I just do a search and that doesn't give me word count in Worldcat whereas Ingram doesn't even give me any result. The book I'm looking for is
. Marie said it has some maps/pictures and I wanted to do a word count check to confirm. Could you help, please?
Hina wrote: "Hi Lisa Kay, I started reading that book, and on my ipad kindle is showing page count of 159. Please tell me what to do."
= 61,137 word count = 245 pages (rounded up).(Do you mean the above book?) Do you mean on GoodReads' Home Page for that book? Because I see it as 169.
Marchioness of Magenta wrote: "HI LK! I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I can't seem to find wordcount on WorldCat or Ingram."I can't find a word count for that one, either, Marchioness. However, I can go in a view the book on Amazon. At the beginning there is a listing of maps and color plates. I counted them (actually double counted them, as there are more than one to a page for some); there are 49 pages to subtract from WorldCat's 342 page total = 293 pages. Approved.

Yes, Hina, you may count it per the ruling in Post #368. As much as I would love to have control over what Kindle shows you on your iPad, I don't have that kind of power.
Thanks Lisa Kay. I figured its the kindle app or amazon has it wrong but I didn't want it to become an issue later on before I shelve it for my tower team. - I will refer it back to post 368.
Hello. I was told I need to come over here because the book
is an illustrated book and needs to be checked for page count by ya'll.
Also could you check The Fairy-Tale Detectives since I noticed someone else was questioning the Lemony Snicket Books
Jennifer, I'm going to let Countess Paige tackle
.However,
shows a 56,907 word count = 228 pages (round up); therefore, it works for this challenge.
Jennifer wrote: "Also could you check The Fairy-Tale Detectives since I noticed someone else was questioning the Lemony Snicket Books"The Fairy Tale Detectives will work - 56907 words = 227 pages approved
Lisa Kay wrote: "Beat you to it, Countess Paige. ☺"Just barely!!
Jennifer - I'll get back to you on
.I know there are a few more outstanding questions and I'll get through them this week - I promise. Have a great day everyone!
Alien Interludes: Clans of Kalquor Short Stories word count: 101,920 = 408 pages (rounded up). Used by LJB for Cat.#7.
Could you update the last audiobook Jane posted to her team shelf with some page numbers? (Or should we have Jane post the equivalent Mass Market Paperback?)for

Anyway, that is definitely lime green! LOL!

yeah I remember I asked about all the books I had under Lime green, but I should have paid more attention to page numbers.
Lisa Kay, have you heard about
? I finished reading the book and am wondering if I should put it on my team shelf. Also another book regarding page numbers
No. Sorry, Hina. It is moving day on the Team Assignments Spreadsheet.
I'm sure Countess Paige will get to you as soon as possible.
No guarantees, but I'm betting it just makes it for the page count mark.

Poor Countess Paige is indisposed. She'll get back to you as soon as she is feeling better. Thanks for your patience.
A few books need page counts for Forest Green:
Life Happens: It's How You Let It Shape You That MattersI found this book at the publisher's website listing 220 pgs, which GR has for paperback version. Also has a picture of the cover which is not here on GR. I have not added covers before, so is there a way you can do this? Here is the link for the ebook:

She has the ebook not Kindle version tagged as read which, according to Smashwords has 112,406 word count= 449 pgs and amazon has it at 414 pgs

All updated, Viscountess Viridian. For the Kindle editions, I deferred to the Kindle/Amazon data, as they will just change it back. However, I added word count, if available. For the regular eBooks, I made the word count/page number conversion.
If we are going by Amazon count, then
would not count, I suppose? Amazon estimates it to be 158.. (why couldn't the book have just 2 more pages??)
No, Vi. Sorry for the confusion. I don't want to change the GRs database, if something is a Kindle/Amazon edition. They will come in and just change it back. NONETHELESS, if we can find (what we consider legitimate source) a word count, we'll use it. I just may refer to to the post, instead of changing the database. After all, this is for our challenge purposes only.
Let me go check and see what I find for that one.
LK - it's just my wishful thinking. GR says its 100 pages but Amazon says 158. I'm just checking with you. Sorry for the extra work.
Vi, that book was originally published as a novella in
which is 389 pages. Divided by three, that would be about 130 pages.I have a copy, if I can dig it out of the boxes in my garage, if you want, but I don't think it is going to qualify.
