Before I Go to Sleep Before I Go to Sleep question

How would you deal with re-inventing yourself every morning after you woke up?

I liked the theme of the book a lot! Wonderfully claustrofobic and shadowy. Constant shifts in perpective and trying to understand what is going on in life. It made me think of the philosophical impact of such a case of amnesia. Must be exhausting and scary to try to make sense of your life every morning.
Would be interesting to see if it's possible to make a non-horror movie out of this book.

Just finished the book, and I loved it. I thought about the movie aspect of it as well. I think it would be worth a try. Didn't see the ending coming until I was nearly there.
As for re-inventing myself every morning, I guess I would do what I had to do, but I'm having difficulty even imagining that scenario. How to begin to trust?

As I stand now I am already a little cautious around new people. If I had amnesia I'm not sure how I would begin to cope. I mean day after day you have believe/trust someone whom you recall nothing about.

I quite terrifying concept IMO

I certainly wouldn't wonder about whether or not I shaved "down there" for the man I woke up next to.

If I'd woken up beside someone like that, I would've ran for the phone and called the police immediately...I'm a paranoid person, so unless I know a person for a long time, I don't fully trust them.

Shoot, how could anyone know that? Ha, I would probably drive myself mad. Live in a center. Die alone. I can't imagine that, really. I feel for Christine so much.
