The Merchant of Death
question
Character change in "Merchant of death '

What character change does bobby go through? I am choosing this book for an essay about character change. Help?
At the beginning of the book, when he first goes through the flume, Bobby is self-centered. He continues to be so until Loor pretty much flat out tells him so. This was kind of like a slap in the face to Bobby. He goes through a mini epiphany of sorts, and focuses on helping his Uncle Press and the Milago. So I suppose the character change could be the fact that he becomes able to look past himself and his situation, which is definitely not the best, and is able to help those in even worse shape than he is. Does that make sense?
