Wilco | 2 comments Hello all,

I'm looking for a book that i stumbled across on goodreads.com. At the time i discarded it but now, due to new genre interests and the ambition to become an author myself, i really want to read it. Ofcourse now that i want to read it i've completely forgotten the title and author.

I don't know the author, title or bookcover but i do remember pieces of the summary. I believe the book is released quite some years ago but i can't be sure.

The book is about a male, who enters a new (dream?) world, where he is told he is the only one that can save him. He is sceptic about this, and according to the summary frequently doubts the world he experiences is even real, believing he must be insane.

I think the genre is in the range of (urban) fantasy, psychology.

If anybody recognises the book i would be most happy!
Thanks helping me out,

Wilco

Stephanie (smackley) | 75 comments Just checking, but is sceptic a key word in the summary or did you mean skeptic? If "skeptic" is the word you were going for, I suggest looking at 1984. It covers a man in a future earth where his country is a complete dictatorship and the new government erased everyone's memories of before the new gavernment. Somehow, he retained some memories and doubts the government and tries to free himself from it. A very psychological book, it covers the urban fantasy claim and the element that he can only rely on himself. Hope this helps...

John Hancock (johngregoryhancock) | 27 comments good that it was the Covenant series, but I sure wouldn't have gotten it from that summary. Good job, Andy.
