Lol! True :)!

My husband's father was called "Cowboy," and both he and his brother kinda get tagged with that nickname too. Now I know I'm gonna have to pick this up!
Your technical writing sis in East Central Florida,
Jessi

Also hoping to win the paper book version also. Yes, I am greedy! Mwuahahahah!!

Alas, you did not win the paperback.

Well that's alright. Least I got the ebook version.
Don't worry, I always try to give an honest review on all the books I read. Just don't hate me at the end of it! Lol

Jessi, I didn't see your comment earlier. My heroine calls the hero Cowboy. Kinda an obvious nickname, but it works. :)
More e-copies up for grabs on Ramblings from this Chick

And guess what I did? I took the POD version of my book and shelved it in my local book store. Hee hee hee. Clicky here to see.

Enjoy snippets of the story.

First off, you're a great writer. I'm picky about a book's writing style/narrative, but you're good.
Second, did you plan on including Cecelia and Edward's predicament in the book from the start? Have you thought about doing a separate book for them?
And is bad of me to want to smack Edward and especially Jewel? Lol God, women can be so mean...lol
Looking forward to the rest of the book. Hopefully Ainsely and Riley can finally get some time to themselves lol

Funny story with Cecelia and Edward. Cecelia did not exist in the first version of the book. Also, the book was at 77K words and an agent asked me to make it longer, so I included Edward's POV. She rejected me. *laugh* So, no, I didn't think to write their story from the start, though I thought Cecelia was a great addition!

I actually liked Cecilia. I could easily se her character being overdone, but there was a nice balance there. To be honest, I wasn't sure about having their storyline included. I kinda felt it was out of place, but the more I read, it made me think that it served to explain Edward's change and provide Ainsley an escape from him.
Oh btw, I finished the book and will do a review later when I get to my laptop. I only wished Ainsley got to kick all the other women's asses! I was looking for a scene like that. They deserved it, especially Jewel.
Anyways good work! Keep it up. Glad to see a second book coming. ^_^

I love my review! Thank you. :)

That's why I read a book through to the end, for the possibility that my feelings/instincts may change as I read more. Like it did with your book regarding Cecilia/Edward. So when I write a review, good or bad, I want to know I'm fully informed.
I'm anal like that. lol

Another interesting tidbit - my original story ended with E and C getting married in South Carolina and Riley crashing the wedding because Meagan let him believe Ainsley was the one getting married.
That was a really long sentence. :)

Wow...that ending sounds good too! Reminds me of that scene from The Graduate. Imagine Riley pulling that off! Lol

BUT
I got a fabulous review from Romance Junkies. It mentioned about how the reader got so angry while she was reading at one part, and I was so thrilled that I was able to get that emotion out of her. It's what all authors live for, right?
