I thought Hemlock was pretty realistic in portraying humans' ability to discriminate. The internment camps went up rather quickly, and it reminded me of all the horrible things humans have done to others based on appearance only.
The question to think about is:
What does the story teach us, as readers, about prejudice - and judging a group/kind of peoples based on the actions of a few?
Please feel free to extend the discussion beyond the questions (which are there as a topic-starter!) and simply talk about the book as well :D
