After my friend told me that The Blind Assassin was really good but a bit hard to read, I decided I was not ready after my last took-me-a-while book and read Tales from Moominvalley first. I only read one of those books as kid, but I really enjoying them now anyway, children book or not. And now, the Blind Banker.

Finished up with Unseen Academicals so have got an early start on Wool Omnibus as the paperback edition has just come out. Bought it this morning and am already on to the start of part 3. Good read so far.
I've been catching up with my reading this month. I've been able to make progress in several of the series I've been reading. I'm currently reading The Blinding Knife, The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul, & I'm listening to Dead in the Family on audio.
Hello Everyone! I am reading A Game of Thrones and The Lord of the Rings... Trying to stick with one book is just so difficult...
Finished Robin Hob's first Liveships book Ship of Magic. My review http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...
I'm going to sneak in one of Peter V Brett's Demon Cycle novellas Brayan's Gold
Finished Brayan's GoldMy Review http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...
Starting the other novella set in Peter V Brett's Demon Cycle Universe The Great Bazaar And Other Stories
Just started You which I was going to slip in as a final April book before starting The Player of Games but it hasn't grabbed me so I'm wondering whether to skip it or "power through".
Well, feeling like crap (allergies? wicked cold? the flu?) has had the advantage that I've spent a bit of time reading. This morning I finished up The Minotaur Takes a Cigarette Break (it was OK) and earlier this week finished Dragonflight. I've also made it a little more through Riding Rockets: The Outrageous Tales of a Space Shuttle Astronaut.Next up will be Wool Omnibus, which I've had on my Kindle for ages and am looking forward to reading with the group. I also picked up Hounded and Nice Girls Don't Have Fangs on Sandi's recommendation, so I might move to one of those prior to returning to The Mongoliad: Book One. I'm also planning on doing the renegade read this month, but I may not get to it until a little later in the month.
Ok, so my month wrap up would be as follows (the links are to the reviews, not the books)Shopaholic & Sister
Cinder
Beautiful Darkness
Ready Player One
Dragonflight
I'm still dealing with The Historian, really slow paced, and since I have my predoc to study let's say is not my priority right now

It never really grabs you. It sort of meanders around a bit, with a few spots of brightness, but it never ends up pulling you in.

Finished Peter V Brett's The Great Bazaar And Other StoriesMy review http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...
Starting The Windup Girl
Over the weekend I finished listening to Cryptonomicon (My Review).
Additionally I finished reading The Wise Man's Fear last week (My Review).

Two thirds of the way through the very first Forgotten Realms novel, Darkwalker on Moonshae by Douglas Niles.
I'm currently reading "The Lost Hero" by Rick Riordan. After that I'll be sure to pick up the "Hunger Games" book my cousin left me.
Finished listening to The Lies of Locke Lamora - lots of funmy review http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...
Next up, also on Audible Death Masks The Dresden Files 5
I finished listening to Open Season and have started on The Shadow of the Torturer. I got the whole Book of the New Sun series when Audible had a two for one credit sale. Fortunately, I'm enjoying it because I'd be kicking myself for getting the whole series otherwise. On my Nook, I'm almost done with The Red House by Mark Haddon. I have two days before it disappears from my Overdrive app. I've also got only about 50 pages left of The Killing Moon. Since I own that one, it's taking a back seat right now.

Almost done with Fortress Frontier, it's been a fast fun read so far.
