Andre And someone here is really an arrogant prick. The fact that you think this series actually invokes an emotion as strong as hatred in me is very good evidence that you cannot recognize hatred and may even think that everybody who doesn't like this series must be a hater.

For the facts dumbass:
I do not hate the series, it annoys me and it annoys the hell out of me that people like you make this bad copy a hit. And it might be strange to you but there are other reasons to read books full except enjoying them. Research is one of them. Another one is curiosity why such a bad series can have so many fans.

The worst is that you actually defend her bad writing. Having flaws is not the same as being a bad writer.
And fans who close their eyes to the flaws wonder you? You are one of them!

And you really think someone like Clare will listen to criticism? The first book came out a long time ago already and countless people criticized her and she either ignored them or bullied all of them.

And for Christ's sake do a grammar and spelling check of your comments before you post them. "But I has been enjoyed" is pretty bad English.

Nurlely LOL.... hahahaha. The trick really worked, as expected.

If you noticed earlier, I made mistakes in preposition too, but that seemed to be left unnoticed since you 'have not yet' considered me as the 'enemy'... LOL.

And someone here is really an arrogant prick.

Do you have a mirror at home? You might consider taking a long look at your own reflection and be surprised by the fact that you are the one who has been so arrogant here. You 'dislike' the series and wish us all to do the same? Aren't you arrogant?

We read what we like to read, as you have your right in liking or disliking a book. But you surely need to learn to respect other opinions before 'forcing' us to believe in your theories.

The worst is that you actually defend her bad writing. Having flaws is not the same as being a bad writer.

If I like a book, I will read that book. If I want to read more of it, I will buy the book to support the writer. If I don't like Cassie's books anymore, then I will just cease reading her books. I surely will not waste my time reading something I that does not entertain me, like some 'wise-wannabe' does.

And now I'm going to call you put on what you caught me doing earlier: Let's all be nice to each other. This is a debate, we are not insulting each other for how we feel. Everyone has their own opinions.

Tessa I think the 'love' between Jace and Clary is described wrong, i'm pretty sure CC wants everybody to believe that they are very much in love but I don't buy it either. Only reason for that is that I think CC can't write. She makes the classical mistake. Show, don't tell. And CC just tells, not only with the relationship between Clary en Jace but another example is the death of Max, she tells us that everybody is devastated by it, but the actions of the charecters tell different. Jace said something along the line of, 'going to the funeral of your little brother and then you miss out on all the fun'. Or isabelle who just want to sleep around with Simon, 5 minutes after the death of Max...

Your friend described the truth perfectly. They may have slightly grown to care about each other’s well being but mostly it was about sex and generally an unhealthy relationship, so many red flags.

The answer would be a strong no. Why? She’s usually only mentioning his looks, she talks about how he’s usually only mentioning his looks and his ego is sky high, he’s immature even for her , he constantly makes everything about himself, he is extremely insecure , jealous to the point of being unfaithful, insults her friends out of jealousy despite simon saving his life, uses childish remarks and jabs at other characters , uses sarcasm as a form of deflection , is not good with confrontation, has no reason outside of clary for his actions , brags about himself and his capabilities constantly , tries to control many aspects of Clary’s life , cant figure himself out and is constantly conflicted and confused about his feelings and how to deal with them along with other peoples feelings.

This list just for him is huge.

Clary on the other hand despite being awful and almost just as immature is able to and initiates confrontation constantly , does not make every person’s problem about her and listens to them or tries to , her reason for everything isnt just about jace although it does come close most of the time, she only tells someone to stay back if theyre hurt or incapable of a fight. Etc.

She repeatedly states situations where he irritates her , is selfish, condescending, controlling , egotistical, and compares it in one instance to her brother who is calm , composed, caring, and only seems to have eyes for her and doesn’t care when beautiful women and other strangers are admiring him because he’s too busy focusing on her because she intrigues him . Etc.

So no , theyre in a typical teen relationship and idk how the hell they end up married , jocelyn truly is a terrible mother who only thinks about herself if she just let clary marry him but whatever, typical YA book.
