Andrew✌️ (andrew619) | 97 comments Hi. I am a Librarian since short time, so before make change on books, I wanna be sure of understanding all. I've read manual and posts in this group, but I have a doubt about inserting information. Consider these cases:

1. - Paper Book
I buy a book from a site (es. Amazon, or another vendor) and I insert the book on GoodReads taking informations from a site like worldcat.org or editor site.

2. - Ebook
I buy an ebook from a site (es. Amazon). I can take the information from worldcat.org (or editor site) like previous case, specifing only the different format (ebook or Kindle and in this case ASIN code)?

The doubt is that on worldcat.org the informations are almost surely realtive to paper book and so for editor site.

Is correct proceed in this way for an ebook?

Thanks.

Banjomike | 5166 comments If you have bought the book and it is in your hand, paper or ebook, then the information you need is in that book. You usually don't need websites to tell you about new books you own.

You're right. I think I did a bit of confusion.
Thanks.
