In my opinion, the love triangle was given more space in CP. I kind of expected more Will/Tessa/Jem moments in CP2, but I do get that Cassie had to tie up a lot of loose laces to tie up in the sub plot (which I adore) so maybe she could not afford a lot of pages for the love triangle.. What do you think? I feel that I need to reread CP2 to get its full essence.

I loved all three but my favorite was Clockwork Prince, but as I said I don't think there was anything wrong with Clockwork Princess, it's just if I were to pick one of them up right now, I would pick that one up. I was so sad to see the series end.
I don't know, I loved clockwork prince because jem was the main focus of the book but the should have been more a the love triangle thing going on but then I loved clockwork princess as well! I so sad to see the series end though!
I can't decide, its a three way tie. Cp2 made me cry a lot, though, so it's safe to say that was the saddest book haha :-)

Clockwork Angel is the best. The romance is the least melodramatic of 3 and it gives a wonderful introduction to the scary clockwork army.

CP2 can be so awesome if it... focused on the clockwork army, tells us more of Mortmain and his evil side, rather than the romance between the main characters.CP can be so awesome if someone just removes the Epilogue for me.
I have to disagree. While I undeniably loved Clockwork Prince, Clockwork Princess was my favorite because everything got solved. And I'm glad she ended up with Will... sort of.

And I'm happy because Tessa sorta ended up with both boys.... ;)
I do prefer Clockwork Prince, I really enjoyed finding out the whole story of Will and there's so much angst between Will and Tessa I just love it. I expected more of Clockwork Princess, I hated the Epilogue and I just didn't like the whole "Tessa loves both boys equally" because that's not what I felt in the previous books so I was pretty pissed off about that. I really liked CP2 though, outside of the love triangle I really enjoyed everything else and I love that Will had his happy ending.

But the love triangle in CP was much more emotionally driven and as a Wessa fan, I even liked the Jessa scenes. But the epilogue of CP2.. Well, it was not love at first read. At least Will had a lifetime with Tessa :)

I expected more of Clockwork Princ..."I had thought I would be one of the really few people who would say they liked CP better but I'm glad there are others, specially Noelia and Jasmine. Your thoughts mirror mine. Honestly speaking I'm still not sure about my stand on CP2. I had great expectations from the last installment of the series. And I'm not saying I was disappointed or anything. There were moments that made me grip the book tight in my hands in anticipation and others that made me laugh out loud. But somehow it didn't quite....touch me as I had expected it to. And then there was the matter of everybody suddenly finding their soulmates!! It almost felt forced. So yeah. Even though I'm still not clear if I liked CP2 or not, I can surely say I liked CP better.
For me I had a harder time with Clockwork Princess because I missed the more vulnerable and volatile Will of the other books. I loved him when he was hiding his feelings and acted like a jerk, but in this one he was just another sarcastic young shadowhunter, not that I don't still love him dearly, but still. . .
