Am I the only one who loved Sydney's character from the beginning?

I was bored and scrolling through discussions and pretty much everyone talking about this book said they really disliked Sydney in books 1&2. I thought she was an amazing character, and although sometimes I yell at her (like at the end of TGL), but all in all, I loved her and the whole Sydrian thing.

like, sometimes female characters in romance books are too perfect. Personally, if u have read Clockwork Angel, i think Tessa came accross as very perfect, mannerly and innocent. Since Bloodlines is set in modern times, i think Sydney's character is refreshing.

Thank you S.L.J. and Aki! As soon as Sydney comes in you get the feeling that she is going to be a big character. And if she's going to be a big character you know she's going to have to get over the anti-vampire beliefs. Even if you didn't know that in Blood Promise you had to have figured it out when you were told that Bloodlines was in her perspective. And come on everyone knew she had to end up with Adrian. It was so inevitable.
I couldn't stand her until TGL.

i know what u mean; Rose was battling a dangerous romance, but it was as easy as pie compared to the hatred between vamps/damphirs and alchemists that Sydney had to/will have to battle through to get Adrian

Sydney's a pretty common name. I live in Brisbane and I have like, three friends who have that name.

the girl is awesome
