LadyDisdain | 10 comments Oh, I'm always looking for more kiwi book blogs, so thanks Joanne =) Hopefully I get to read more NZ books through yours.

I blog as well, but mine's more of a mix of books, movies and various other things. Currently I've only reviewed Frame and C.K.Stead. Need to get onto other kiwi authors.

This is me: http://ladydisdainnotes.blogspot.co.nz/

Loved your blog, Lady Disdain. Lots of variety, and lots to think about. I started a blog about a month ago, but mine is more just reviews of children's books. I started it mostly to keep track of what I had read. I'm really hoping to include a lot more Kiwi content than I have, and I'm hoping to play with the format a little, to widen the scope - eg life, the universe, and everything...musings and other stuff. http://stgeorgesreaders.wordpress.com/

Hope everyone had a great Easter! I had a fantastic and, believe it or not, delicious Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Egg Free, Nut Free Egg - who knew it was even possible!

Hi I just followed you on your blog, I work in a book shop and your book the were Nana is definitely a favorite of mine.

I agree with you about there not being enough coverage in the media about NZ book month. But I will say the Christchurch city public library did a great job in hosting author visits and other events.

It was great to see children come in with their $5 vouchers so they could choose their books, its unfortunate newspapers and television didn't get behind it. hopefully with a bit of planning by organizers this can be remedied next year.

Hi I just f..."

Nice to meet you Joanne and very glad you like The Were-Nana :)

Libraries around NZ have made a real effort this year with events for NZ Book Month which is just fantastic. I agree the media didn't do enough and their involvement could make a real difference. Not sure how we get them on side though

cheers
Melinda
