Othello was a pompous, misogynistic ass, regardless of whether or not he knew the truth. He was so quick to defend his pride, and that was clearly more important to him than Desdemona. You've gotta be kidding if you think he's a good character at all.

God NO. Othello is easily in my top LEAST favorite Shakespeare characters.

No, not with Othello but with DESDEMONA, I think she's Jesus's Counterpart in various way. She is full with LOVE, BEAUTY, GRACE, AND MERCY. She has every virtual and real values of life and humanity. May be beyond humanity, it's hard to find a girl like her.
In Shakespearian heroins DESDEMONA might comes at least importance but for me she has everything of a girl, of a woman and of a wife. Till the End she loves only man that is OTHELLO.
