I am going to call Gandalf, this has gone on long enough. he is going to beat you with his staff.

message 1555: by Ezi (new)

Ezi Chinny (ezinwanyi) That's not a uniform, that is Gandalf's clothes. would rather him be naked? Gandalf's staff is to help an old man walk, it's not a uniform. Would you rather a 90 year old wizard hobble along?

Gin Blanco only wears an apron when cooking, she doesn't wear a uniform.

Look at you, trying to co-op all my people with the uniform trick.

Sonia (darktalynn) | 11599 comments Is a great series, and she has stone and ice magic, and the book also has dwarfs and giants, so it fits 'face your fears' - assassins & spiders, 'creatures' and abilities, for the read-a-thon book hunt

Read-a-Thon Duration: October 4th BST 4:00 PM to October 19th BST 4:00 PM

We decided to use the Greenwich hour for two reasons:
1.Is the "zero" hour. All time zones relate to it
2.Daylight saving time change will only occur on October 27th, so it won't interfere with read-a-thon timings.

*looks worriedly at the only two book difference*

*shakes head at Tea for wanting to "borrow" CB's books*

Turtlecollector Dennis | 1164 comments That's from September 8th to present, I am also at least halfway through 3 of the books in the currently reading section.

You are lucky I have 5 nonfiction books to read this month. They slow me down and I can't add many more romance or teen books(faster reads) or I won't get them finished.

*grins devilishly*

Just wait for the read-a-thon, I am tracking down my books already. I have considered asking for time off work, but I don't think they will agree if they heard it was just to read books.

I don't think I will get my 5 in this month:D
I don't want to read that many "out of my norm" books in a month. I've read 3 and that is about all I am willing to do

Yes, it is. I have a feeling that I won't be able to finish either and need to switch this month out. But I am going to try up to the last minute. I really wanted to be able to do that challenge without switching anything and if I can make it through this month, the last three months will be easy for me.

I don't want to read anymore "Make Ezi Cry" books.
I have read On the Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta The Fault in Our Stars by John Green The Book Thief by Markus Zusak . Tomorrow, I will start The Husband's Secret by Liane Moriarty

I don't think I can read Six Years by Harlan Coben to complete my month...I just don't know

Turtlecollector Dennis | 1164 comments I get very emotional with books, and movies too. Many times, the books that make me cry are some of my favorites. I also cried with The Fault in Our Stars by John Green and The Book Thief by Markus Zusak .

I just call my sister to get cheered up after I start bawling. I am still amazed that she doesn't get tired of it, answering a phone call to hear a crying person on other end. She just laughs at me, but usually writes it on her TBR list. (She is not as much of a reader as me, only a few books a month, but my niece and I are working on her. She has started to read a bit more in the last few months.)

*HUGS*
Crying means you have empathy for others. The book thief made my stomach hurt because I was stressed. I kept waiting for Liesel to die like Anne Frank. I think the wait was killing me more than anything...I mean death was talking so I kept waiting for him to claim her.

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green --best book I'd listen to all year. I love you Hazel, Gus, Issac!

P.S. Glad you signed up for Speedy challenge on TCF. It should be fun

Yes, I needed and still need them. I need lots of hugs, a kiss from hubby and kids, a trip to baskin robbins for my favorite Pralines and Cream to soothe me.
It was such a well written book, but so emotional.
