Cerulean (AKA “Hobbit Blue”)
And before you can call Gin, she uses assassin gear and knifes, plus an apron at the pork pit - uniforms
That's not a uniform, that is Gandalf's clothes. would rather him be naked? Gandalf's staff is to help an old man walk, it's not a uniform. Would you rather a 90 year old wizard hobble along?Gin Blanco only wears an apron when cooking, she doesn't wear a uniform.
Look at you, trying to co-op all my people with the uniform trick.

Melissa (ladybug) wrote: "Nooo..... Just wondering who Gin Blanco is. :D lol"Oh good. I wasn't the only one. :P
Is a great series, and she has stone and ice magic, and the book also has dwarfs and giants, so it fits 'face your fears' - assassins & spiders, 'creatures' and abilities, for the read-a-thon book huntSee, I can share

I'm not playing tricks - see September and May bap's notes for cadet blue, they are uniforms
Read-a-Thon Duration: October 4th BST 4:00 PM to October 19th BST 4:00 PM![]()

We decided to use the Greenwich hour for two reasons:
1.Is the "zero" hour. All time zones relate to it
2.Daylight saving time change will only occur on October 27th, so it won't interfere with read-a-thon timings.
I really need to remember to post these here and not just in the challenge thread.Finished:
Currently reading:
Starting:
Errmmm TC, that is a big bunch of books...*looks worriedly at the only two book difference*
*shakes head at Tea for wanting to "borrow" CB's books*
That's from September 8th to present, I am also at least halfway through 3 of the books in the currently reading section. You are lucky I have 5 nonfiction books to read this month. They slow me down and I can't add many more romance or teen books(faster reads) or I won't get them finished.
*grins devilishly*
Just wait for the read-a-thon, I am tracking down my books already. I have considered asking for time off work, but I don't think they will agree if they heard it was just to read books.
Turtlecollector wrote: "You are lucky I have 5 nonfiction books to read this month. They slow me ..."TC, is that for the really, really, really hard challenge?
I don't think I will get my 5 in this month:D
I don't want to read that many "out of my norm" books in a month. I've read 3 and that is about all I am willing to do
Sonia wrote: "*looks worriedly at the only two book difference*"Book wielding Harpie, are you hearing our footsteps?
MUHAHAHAHAHA!

Yes, it is. I have a feeling that I won't be able to finish either and need to switch this month out. But I am going to try up to the last minute. I really wanted to be able to do that challenge without switching anything and if I can make it through this month, the last three months will be easy for me.

I don't want to read anymore "Make Ezi Cry" books.
I have read
. Tomorrow, I will start
I don't think I can read
to complete my month...I just don't know
I get very emotional with books, and movies too. Many times, the books that make me cry are some of my favorites. I also cried with
and
.I just call my sister to get cheered up after I start bawling. I am still amazed that she doesn't get tired of it, answering a phone call to hear a crying person on other end. She just laughs at me, but usually writes it on her TBR list. (She is not as much of a reader as me, only a few books a month, but my niece and I are working on her. She has started to read a bit more in the last few months.)

Crying means you have empathy for others. The book thief made my stomach hurt because I was stressed. I kept waiting for Liesel to die like Anne Frank. I think the wait was killing me more than anything...I mean death was talking so I kept waiting for him to claim her.
--best book I'd listen to all year. I love you Hazel, Gus, Issac!P.S. Glad you signed up for Speedy challenge on TCF. It should be fun
Ezinwanyi~For you, Agron wrote: "P.S. Glad you signed up for Speedy challenge on TCF. It should be fun "Speedy challenge?!
Please do tell :P
Edit: Found it :P
❀Tea❀ wrote: "You finished The Book Thief?! Here you go... you probably need them...And?
*grins*"
Yes, I needed and still need them. I need lots of hugs, a kiss from hubby and kids, a trip to baskin robbins for my favorite Pralines and Cream to soothe me.
It was such a well written book, but so emotional.
Without offending anyone here, I despise that Nazi era the way I despise slavery. Urgghh.
What ever happened to Max (after he got out of the concentration camp and stuff?) did the author ever say?
Ezinwanyi~For you, Agron wrote: "What ever happened to Max (after he got out of the concentration camp and stuff?) did the author ever say?"I don't know. I know there was discussion if they got married or not, but I'm really not sure.
You did audiobook, right? That means you didn't have visual. Try googling images. Start with Max's book. :P
*evil grin*
That was trigger for me.
❀Tea❀ wrote: "That was trigger for me. ..."umm, so I just finished crying at lunch...you want me to start again?
A book/accordion--great visual. this will be a 2014 movie right?
I'm not sure where to fit The book thief on the challenge "A Book A Day Keeps the Boredom at Bay Reading Challenge"I am missing #14, 18, 21, 24, 25 & 29.
I was thinking of maybe substituting my book 10 as she tried to save life, books etc.
Team leaders...what say you?
Ezinwanyi~For you, Agron wrote: "umm, so I just finished crying at lunch...you want me to start again?"It's 10pm! You had enough time to compose yourself.

OK Sherlock is there He can take care of things. :P
Ok, my last update was... *checking thread* ...two weeks ago.Since then read:
(yay!!!)reading:
Have no idea about next...
something from:
or something totally different :P
Ezinwanyi~For you, Agron wrote: "capture & surrender AND wizards first rule get my vote"Those two are only ones not planned for challenge. :D
But I could use them.... Wizard as fantasy and C&S will fit somewhere I'm sure. :P
Looks like I'm hunting chunksters :P
Forgot to add another one in previous post:
The Name of the Wind
I have Wizards first rule in Paperback, ebook and audible--because LEgend of the Seeker was a beloved show. But the length freaks me out so I haven't been able to just take the plunge (i'm such a wuss)Susan E Phillips is an author that I own 3 of her paperbacks, but never read a thing! So read her :D
Ezinwanyi, I know the feeling. I loved Legend of the Seeker (so sad there weren't more seasons!)... I read book one, but it was long... like 600 pages long... then I saw that book two is like 1100 pages! YIKES!
Tea, read Storm Front! You can join us over in the thread Sonia set up for talking about the books :D
Ezinwanyi~For you, Agron wrote: "Susan E Phillips is an author that I own 3 of her paperbacks, but never read a thing! So read her :D"*cough*reread*cough*
I've read all of her books. Well not that historical one. She's my feel good author. Although this book always makes me cry. It would be perfect for you! :P
She was in Zagreb(!) last year on book signing and I went (my mom made me - she wanted autograph :P) and look what I have now ☺

*Sorry have to brag. Not many authors come here. :D*
Steven wrote: "Tea, read Storm Front! You can join us over in the thread Sonia set up for talking about the books :D"Did I make poll and forgot about it? :P
I know about thread. I'm lurking for now. ☺ I was keeping that one for October RaT. And I'm waiting for audio from library (again!) :P
Hehehe, that's a good October book. I plan on reading at least books three and four during the readathon!
Storm front was an audible book of the day for $2.95. I got it and listened to it...it was alright--no romance.you know I need love, so I have not continued.
***playing on this site keeps me from reading books.

what book does that poor ass PI finally get a steady?
Ezinwanyi~For you, Agron wrote: "what book does that poor ass PI finally get a steady? "2nd? Since Steven didn't read rest of them yet :P
Well, the romance between Harry and Susan makes some progress in books one and two. I'm sure with Harry's luck, that won't last :P
