Continuing on with the TTRC...

For those of you who want to finish what you started, we are leaving the Tower Team Reading Challenges threads, the "sister group," and Team Home Page Challenges open.

Some of you want to finish your Team Mini Challenges for November; some want to see what they can do towards reaching 1,350 (with or without BAPs); others want to go until the end of the year; and die-hards want to go until April, 2014!

Whatever you decide, as an individual Team or Team Member basis, is completely up to you. Even if you are the only Team Member interested in continuing, we're sure the other Teams will interact with you.

We, the Mods and Captain Paige, will do an informal update once a month.

Whatever you decided, remember to have fun! There will be much less pressure, definitely.

As far as Round III, we do NOT know when it will start, but it will NOT be in January. For the next Team Challenge, the other Mods want to do some type of board game that will last anywhere from one to several months.

Karsyn (imzadi) Continuing? I'm up for it, anyone else? I'd definitely go through the end of the year. I'm glad to host some mini challenges and such for it all as well. Let me know if anyone wants to stick with Petwer Blue for a while with me.

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) | 5588 comments I don't mind participating if someone is willing to do the mini-challenges.

message 1955: by Karsyn (new)

Karsyn (imzadi) I definitely don't mind hosting. We can keep going on the Nov challenge and i can come up with something for Dec, and beyond, if wanted.

ilovebakedgoods (Teresa) (ilovebakedgoods) | 226 comments Congratulations to us!! 4th place is awesome!!!

I'm looking forward to a couple of months off from a team type of challenge but I do look forward to round 3, whatever it may hold.

I'll be popping in here to keep in touch, too.

I've had this weird foot issue for the past week and a half so I haven't been sitting at the computer for long periods of time and now am out of the loop with a lot of my GR groups. Sitting here just makes my foot ache and swell up a little bit so I am trying to just keep my foot elevated whenever I'm home. I can't do that at the computer desk, without being in an uncomfortable angle, blah.

Andrea (deja05) | 732 comments Yay team! We did great!!

I'll continue tagging books to the team shelf and might participate in some challenges - it will just depend on how busy I get.

Vicky (librovert) | 3138 comments I'm up for sticking around and tagging books for fun, my reading got slow lately, I need to stay motivated! haha

message 1960: by Riya (new)

Riya I'm definitely going to keep going until the end of this year! Can't wait to see what Round III has in store for us- hopefully it'll come soon!!!

message 1961: by Karsyn (new)

Karsyn (imzadi) Everyone has been so quiet. Sorry that I have been, my computer want working for a few weeks. It was again for a bit, but now I am having trouble again. Sigh!

Anyways, I created a challenge for Dec if anyone would like to participate in it. I was going to link it, but my computer literally just stopped again before I started this post. It is over at our group page. I hope you all will like it.

message 1962: by Mary X (new)

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) | 5588 comments I'll check it out tomorrow. Just came home from a really long drive. I've just been really busy.

message 1964: by Riya (new)

Riya Haha- I really need to watch that Sarah!!!

And I'll definitely check it out Brooke! I'm super excited because I'm at 99 out of 100 books for 2013! I've been reading a ton, so I'm going to go way over :)

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) | 5588 comments Hi guys. Just thought I'd click on some links and do an update. We are 1023 books.

message 1966: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 3273 comments Back to reading - BREAKING BAD is over :-( It was amazing writing for a TV series and superb character development.

message 1967: by Mary X (new)

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) | 5588 comments Looks like I'll have more reading time now. My boyfriend dumped me over the phone this morning when he knew I was just about to leave for work. I'm more annoyed than heartbroken. He said it was because we never got to see each other enough but it was always him cancelling on me. Well I'm glad it happened now after 3 months before I got too attached to him. A few more weeks/months and I might have cried over the idiot.

message 1968: by Lisa Kay (new)

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 15159 comments Well, drat, Mary: HDLS! That sucks. Annoying little twerp. You're right, though. Better now than later.

ilovebakedgoods (Teresa) (ilovebakedgoods) | 226 comments Argh, a twerp, indeed! Grrr @ him for doing it just before you had to go to work. Sorry to hear about that, Mary, but like you said, better now than if you'd grown too attached. Well, he is no Harry Dresden, that's for sure!

message 1970: by Lisa Kay (new)

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 15159 comments **hee hee** That he isn't!

message 1972: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 3273 comments I haven't added any lately but am about to finish a couple - and then hopefully start two more this week.

message 1973: by Vicky (new)

Vicky (librovert) | 3138 comments Happy New Year, Pewter Blue! :) I hope everyone had a great end of the year.

What kind of reading plans does everyone have for 2014?

ilovebakedgoods (Teresa) (ilovebakedgoods) | 226 comments Hi, everyone!

message 1977: by Riya (new)

Riya nice Sarah! im also at a great start with like 18 I think?

message 1978: by Vicky (new)

Vicky (librovert) | 3138 comments Hi! :)

My goal for the year is 120 books, so I'm attempting 10 books a month. I finished 10 in January, but I've been slacking this month and only have 1 so far. Whoops!

message 1979: by Riya (new)

Riya Haha good luck Vicky!!!

message 1980: by Mary X (new)

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) | 5588 comments I didn't notice anyone was still posting here. I am at 14 for the year but that includes a couple of shorties. That's actually low for me. I took up needlework again, I have one brother that's been very sick and another getting married. So lots of family stuff happening.

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) | 5588 comments Yes we are all very excited about the wedding. The last wedding in our immediate family was when my mother and stepfather finally got around to getting married 15 years ago.

The sick brother has been an alcoholic and chain smoker for over 30 years and it's finally catching up to him as far as his health goes.
