Vicky will be doing the update early this weekend, probably Saturday night.

How do you do them, that it hurts your hand Vicky? Do you individually change each letter?

I just updated the Oct BAP threads with some info. Please post your questions, opinions etc..,
Read-a-Thon Duration: October 4th BST 4:00 PM to October 19th BST 4:00 PM![]()

We decided to use the Greenwich hour for two reasons:
1.Is the "zero" hour. All time zones relate to it
2.Daylight saving time change will only occur on October 27th, so it won't interfere with read-a-thon timings.

You can find the team threads for these challenges here: PewterBlue

I can try to do spell-it-out, or give a general idea of pages by the books I know I will read and just add a few more to it.
Dunno if it's good enough, so just LMK. Either way, I'll be reading, just not my usual 15-20.

I did some math for people to use as guidelines. I'm going to post it in our RAT discussion thread.

Greatings from Turkey. I will be participating in both challenges and I will think about my page number goal. When will you need to know? I'll be home again on the 29th. :(

So Brooke, you can join the read-a-thon and book hunt. If by the 13th you feel like you cannot get close to your page goal you can drop out of the page tracking one. You could stay in the book hunt and just do what you can.

Sent 157 and didn't even need to decrypt that one, I knew what it was right away. :)

Oh and we're only behind 1st place Moonstone by 177 books. We can catch up with them easy peasy.

That's my all time favorite book Sarah!!! Glad you're enjoying it :)

Also we earned 9 BAPS for the September challenge.
I am actually ahead 3 books. I decided to pick up some books I had put down and get them finished. Not much reading done for me today so far but I will start a new audiobook today.

Yes, the Rudy stuff killed me, too. I think I need to re-read this because I'm forgetting little things.

Yeah, it was such a powerful book that i really feel I should reread- it seems to be one which you would get even more out of the second time.

I didn't get to fill in many spots in the spreadsheet because they were all taken. But there might be teams that finish in a just a couple of days and I don't see people reading several books each in 2 or 3 days. I plan on reading books that fit multiple themes and then using them to finish tasks as others read.

I plan on starting my Neil Gaiman book ahead of time. It's not long but he's hit or miss for me. I don't want to waste valuable read-a-thon time deciding I don't like it enough to finish.
