Hi! I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to be doing right now- so I'm essentially trying to read as many books as possible and add them to by shelf for this challenge? And what is the 7% Challenge? I'm super excited to help as much as possible (at least once I know what's going on)!

Yes that's the gist of the game. The first team to hit the goal, which I can't remember right this second, wins. Only books 160 or more pages count.

The 7% challenge is a little harder to explain. It's basically trying, as a team, to read 49 books in 7 weeks that fit certain criteria. But the parameters are pretty loose. You don't have to list your books ahead of time. If you just list them in the Finished books thread, I can find a spot for them if you don't have time to study the rules and make a reading plan.

FYI, I have "officially" moved back to Cadet Blue. I'm still working out who is doing the 7% Challenge. I may take myself off. I'll keep you posted on my decision.

OK added all the newbies to our spreadsheet, did all the clicking to update tracking bars to show all our books. Removed Lisa Kay from the spreadsheet.

Here are our overall Round II stats:

Team goal: 1275
Total Books read: 217
% of goal: 17%.

I think we're doing darn good considering we were only recently made a full team and our goal is one of the lowest. At least we're close to the 1350 now and have a fighting chance.

Ok taking a break from the computer and then I'll do a 7% update and post the stats.

Oo and I started a friendly competition to see who can read the most Nora Roberts books between the dates of August 1 to August 8. It's called "Leo vs Leo" because Oo and I are both Leos, born one day apart (though "a few" years between). It has garnered the interest of a few other girls from other teams so I thought I'd post the details here and if you'd like, you can join in on the fun, too! Friendly but fierce, because this Leo intends to eat the competition! The Leo vs Leo link is where you can express your desire to participate. (Completely for fun, not at all mandatory to play along, it's just a little fun inter-team competition).

So far, no PBers or CBers (other than me) have joined up (though LK has expressed interest in reading at least one). I think we're keeping track on the Nora Roberts thread via LJB's sister group. We're getting a few from Moonstone and we've got a hobbit, plus Oo, of course, so far. I keep looking at my old NR books lying around and finding myself needing to resist starting them now. Must save up for that one week! :)
