Glad to see you posting Michael.

A decision has been made regarding the use of juvenile/children's/middle grade books for Round II. We have decided that we will accept all non-picture books equal to and greater than 160 pages. Little children's books are still not acceptable (for example:

As you are reading your book, think about the following: does it seem like there are 250 words per page? How many pages have you read in 15 minutes - is it more than normal? When you tag your book look at the other editions - does that version's page numbers look similar to the others. If you have a question, ask in the Page Numbers, Just About Page Numbers... and we will help you out.
For all electronic books (ebook/Kindle/audio) that do not have an equivalent print copy on goodreads, they will still be verified for a word count. In situations where electronic books vary by 100 pages to print editions, those will also be verified.
The Moderators and Countess Paige will still be conducting random spot checks. We reserve the right of veto power over some books, specifically ‘gift books’, ‘novelty books’, or ‘coffee table books’.
Thank you for your time and understanding!

As for now, I am crashing at the keyboard so it's off to napland for me. ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

Sounds like you gals need some bouncing cupcakes ;)

wow they are amazing. we mostly get lorikeets, rosellas and kookaburras. Although I once had some tawny frogmouths make a nest in one of our trees.

My mother has a red woodpecker at her house.
So yay! New player Holly finished her sing up today and added 10 books to our finished books and 50 to our group goal. We are now a 299 books. So unless we all stop reading for the week, we'll pass 300 probably tonight or tomorrow.

We have 2 players named Holly on our team now. We have new momma Holly and now we have Holly from Canada. Our team goal is actually up to 1347 now and we have 310 books. When I checked earlier it must not have updated with new Holly's books yet.

Oh and as a team we are doing well with our percentage of finished books. We should be around 21% and right now we are 23%.

I'm halfway through A Breath of Snow and Ashes and Lord John And The Hand Of Devils (though I won't finish this until I finish Lord John and the Brotherhood of the Blade, since it is an anthology and the last story comes after BotB). I'm hoping to get all three finished by the end of the month, but I'm not sure if I'll pull it off. :s
But right now it's time for laundry and

Read my three new releases that I was looking forward to in two days. :)

Now life's hardest question.... what to read next?! :)

I used to make fettucini and pepperoni. Basically an alfredo type sauce with diced pepperoni and mushrooms. Ooh maybe I'll make that this weekend. I have everything.

We've read WAY MORE chunksters than we have

books: Confessions of a Prairie Bitch: How I Survived Nellie Oleson and Learned to Love Being Hated
The Innocent
