We will comment here about what we think of the book as we read make sure to read at LEAST three to five chapters a week and be sure not to give up anything if you read ahead always post what chapter you are talking about at the top of ur post and that it is bonded so that if someone isn't there yet they can ignore it so as not to ruin the book.

Jack (jack_) But Uglies won for Cat 1 not 2. And matched was voted for cat 1 so it doesn't make sense. Uglies won for cat 2 when it was voted for cat 1. Two cat 1's can't win. Please explain.

Jack go back to the april's books thread you voted Uglies for Cat 2! LOL

Jack (jack_) Oops, my bad. Lol

BattyKat (prosserkat) Both Matched and Uglies are YA.

I'm confused. And voting suggests a poll with all the books listed, giving people the chance to actually vote on them. And time to vote. Like, a day or three.

Jack (jack_) Yeah, it was just like nominations. A poll would have beena better way to vote. And I think the genres should have been more distinct, like YA Fiction or Crime Thriller.

Yep. Fiction is too broad. All books are either Fiction or Non-Fiction.

Jack (jack_) Yes, there should be sub-genres. Like biographies, cook books for Non fiction, and YA, Comedy for Fiction. It all went so fast this month, I was so confused. Hopefully it will be more organised net month.

Libby | 86 comments Mod
It was a voting in a thread but for Mays month we will do it differently now every one stop posting here if its not about this book

Veronica (veraj121) I missed it today. Hopefully I will have enough time to vote for May

I'll have to agree that yes, the beginning was a bit boring but it gets better and better. we should write in which % we are on the book and then if you want to say something and you are not sure if thats a spoiler you shoud do: < spoiler >(no spaces) THE SPOILER < /spoiler > (no spaces)

Shelley (book_drunkard) | 49 comments I am getting ready to start it now. Taking a little lunch break at work to read for a few minutes. If the phone will stop ringing and my boss will quit finding silly things for me to worry with..... Lol.

Shelley (book_drunkard) | 49 comments So I am 31% into the book and I really like it. It started off fast in my opinion and has kept going. I am not sure how I feel about the characters yet though.

Shelley (book_drunkard) | 49 comments Well, I finished it today. Really enjoyed it. Anyone want to discuss anything about it yet?

Claudia (nottheonlyclauds) | 33 comments Oh yay! How did you guys like it? I read it a while back but so much of it still sticks with me like how they cherish that poem so much oh that was beautiful or how people's food is poisoned so they die at a certain age that was funny and how they have personalized work outs; I wish someone took the time to do that for me lol.

i actually read the whole Matched saga and i really loved it i read it like a month ago so i still remember the details. what did you like the most?
i personally was in love withe the couple Cassia-XandeR!

Shelley (book_drunkard) | 49 comments I thought they made a good couple but I kind of wondered if the whole match with Xander WAS staged from the beginning. When she did not see her match right away and then it was Xander, who was her life long friend.....well I wondered. In a society where everything is SO controlled and monitored, wouldn't the Administrators have made 100% sure there were no glitches in the system before the Matching Banquet. I did wonder if some day, my grand kids or great grand kids will have to wait until special occasions to savor a small slice of chocolate cake.

Dalu | 224 comments Mod
i never thought about what you said about "When she did not see her match right away and then it was Xander, who was her life long friend" you're right that's suspicious
