Hey. I made a group for this new series called The Heir Series. It's not very well known but it's AMAZING and a page-turner. The first book (there are three) is called The Warrior Heir by Cinda Williams Chima. It's about this 16-year-old boy named Jack who finds out that he's part of a magical society of people (wizards, warriors, sorcerers,etc.). Jack is a warrior, part of a dying breed because the magical people (mainly wizards if not all) fight a lot over power, so the most powerful group, the wizards, made a tornament that makes the two groups of wizards (the Red and White Roses) find a warrior and make them fight to the death and which ever group wins gets control over the magic over all the magical people. And when Jack finds out he's a warrior is the time when both the houses are desperately looking for a player...
It's a really good series and SSOOO not a knock-off of Harry Potter so you should consider reading it and join my group! Thannks!
