Question regarding editing/deleting?

I added an audiobook edition of The Prophet by Amanda Stevens yesterday, the edition that wasn´t found here on Goodreads when I searched for it before. Today this audiobook´s claimed by someone else. It´s obvious that someone edited it, but when I click on the "Goodreads User" who added the description, it´s not my profile but someone´s else.

I would like to know is this because this particular information (user that added the description) is updated everytime when someone edit the book, is it bug or someone deleted my edition and added another?
(If it´s because of the blurb that I posted, I want to say that I copy/pasted from a blog not a bookstore.)

It doesn't matter who adds/update the records; they aren't kept based on the user that added them. Every time someone edits a book it is registered, and i can see the edits you did yesterday + the other edits someone else made. It is not a bug and not a problem, the edition it's the same that you added, just more complete and combined with the others editions of the book, that' all!

I wish that editor left a comment, though. It would have saved me time for trying to figure it out (before asking).

And sometimes it's not even a person; some data feeds will also add to book information.
