How did Sirius black order the firebolt for Harry?

he was an animagus, couldn't he have just shifted, hid in Quality Quidditch Supplies after closing, wrote on an order form, left the money, and wha-la, firebolt for harry, set to ship in 3-4 business days?

They had mail order and Sirius had alot of money. He didn't have to give his real name or his own address since it was going to Harry.
I thought he said at some point he made Kreacher go buy it. Even if it didn't say that, it seems the simplest explanation.

I've always wondered that, haha. Maybe he stole it as an animagus ?
Crookshanks went with a note saying get the money out of Sirius' bank account....So thats all good!
BUT mcgonagall (and other teachers etc etc) wanted to know who sent harry the firebolt.
Surely they would just go to the shop "Quality Quddith Supplies" and any other shops that sold firebolts get a list of all the people who ordered one. they would see one was ordered by ... it would either say harry potter, a cat, or sirius black. so if it said sirus then bobs your uncle but if it said harry or a cat then they would check who paid for it especially if it was a cat! and bob's your uncle

Page 433 in POA. It's explained in the letter Sirius sends to Harry."Crookshanks took the order to the Owl Office for me. I used your name, but told them to take the gold from my own Gringotts vault."
Well Obviously he had someone from the Order to go and get the firebolt. The order was still going, even in the early books and movies. Either that or mabye creature went and got it. I mean, they can do that. Or I think maybe wasn't it crookshanks? I'm not sure. It was one of those three for sure.
