I started a series of books in the early 2000s about this planet or dimension that was being attacked. They summoned people, I think they turn out to be all women from Colorado to fulfill a prophecy. They all end up having a special ability and find love. I think the total series may have been 6 books, but I never finished them. I know it isn't much to go on, but if anyone has a guess, that'd be great!

These went on from 2005-2009. I don't know if all the women were from colorado, but the author seems to be, so it's possible.
