I was wondering what your theorys are as to what happenend with Jeyne Poole between A Game of Thrones and her return in A Storm of Swords.

I myself think she was trained in one of Littlefinger's brothels, and this because during her bedding, Ramsay Bolton asks Jeyne if she knows how to please a man. Jeyne replies that she has been trained.

I think it was pretty obvious that she was sent off to a brothel. In such a world, a young girl alone in a city, with no money, family or skills would undoubtedly end up in a brothel anyway.

I think thats a pretty safe assumption.
Also explains why she would be willing to masquerade as Arya and marry Ramsay.

I feel so bad for her. She is one of the characters I think have suffered most.

I've often wondered if "Jeyne Poole" is a clue of some sort, as the name sounds like "gene pool".
