Really enjoyed March's book selection. Definitely my favorite book that we have read as a group. Thank you for introducing it!

I liked the earlier ones a lot, the later ones are more action oriented than thoughtful, but I still like them. Russell is just wonderful.
Have you also read Beekeeping for Beginners? It was free at one point (still is?) and offers Holmes's take on the same story. Lots of fun.I love the Russell books. You may also enjoy my interview with Laurie, at http://newbooksinhistoricalfiction.co..., where we talk at length about Russell and Holmes.
I have Beekeeping for Beginners it was one of the first things I downloaded onto my Kindle. I have read all of the Holmes Russell books.
Does anyone else think King's series cries out for someone to film it with Emma Watson as Russell and Hugh Laurie as Holmes?
So glad to find this discussion. I just posted a review of this book, which I think is one of the best mysteries King has written.
