okay I stopped at chapter 10 and I'm totally floored right now!!!!

So....(view spoiler)[ they put her in Liberty where she was TATTOO'd????? I'm so shocked by this!! How could they put a permanent tattoo on her?? (hide spoiler)]

and who is this (view spoiler)[ Simon Green guy?? I'm kind of nervous about him. I want to trust him, but it seemseird that all these poisonings happan AND her lawyer has heartattack!? I hope he wasn't poisoned too!!! (hide spoiler)]

I'll join in the buddy read I started this book today.

So far I am liking this book it's an interesting world. I have read up to Chapter 10 and the scene where (view spoiler)[Anya was put in the cellar at Liberty creeped me out (hide spoiler)]

I agree I think we will see (view spoiler)[Mouse again I am curious to hear more of her story and why she was sent to Liberty (hide spoiler)].

I am wondering about (view spoiler)[Simon Green I find it weird that her lawyer just happens to have a heart attack on the day she is in court (hide spoiler)].

okay, I read through to page 210, stopped at Chapter 14

and I love that (view spoiler)[ she and Win are together! I love that he approached her about the dance, got turned down AND then approached her again at the dance!

her "daddy always said..." I feel like I know her dad and he's not even in the story! LOL! but the way her dad died was awful!

I think the (view spoiler)[ job at the pool...something's going on there.. I think they are setting Anya up for Leo to do something and...for Anya to owe them. I think the family is trying to suck Anya into the family business. (hide spoiler)]

Ugh, I disliked Win's Dad (view spoiler)[ so much...he has an agenda and it feels dirtier then her families! LOL! At least her family will take care of her... (hide spoiler)]

I don't know. this book is good but it feels like the tension is building...I'm ready to hit the main plot point! lol

I am on chapter 16 and I think a lot is going to happen from here to the end.

Now that Nana (view spoiler)[has died and Leo is the guardian of Anya and Natty I have a feeling that something is going to happen that will cause Anya and Natty to be taken away from Leo (hide spoiler)]

Win is such a nice character, but his father is another story I really hate that man.

I have a feeling that Anya (view spoiler)[will end up back at Liberty (hide spoiler)]. I hope I am wrong about that.
