I started this a few hours ago and it's SOOOO GOOD so far!! Kate is so admirable and strong wow!! I might be able to finish it today as I'm reading nothing else at the moment, also because we're reading Opal tomorrow and I think I'm going to need to have my full concentration on it :-)

WHAAAAT!! Be aware when you start it: something is happening ALL the time.. It's action-packed!So far my only issue with this is Henry, I don't know but I feel like he doesn't deserve Kate.. He's so hung up on Persephone and his past so, it's getting irritating.
Yeah I never really liked Kate and Henry's relationship much :( I like James better
I have 1 chapter left, wow chapter 15 was incredibly horrible, how could Persephone do that (view spoiler)I feel that Kate is portrayed so desperate..........and Henry is a jerk, I'm so furious at Henry ugh ://
other than that I'm loving everything!! :D the mythology and the characters (the other gods) ahh everything is so fun AND EXCITING!! I'm so worried now..

NEVERMIND the last chapter made me do a 180 on my opinion on Henry, YAY :-), I'm glad we found out why he acted like that! Finaalllly, the sweet & gentle Henry I loved in book 1 showed up!BUT OH MY GOD THAT ENDING WHAT THE??!

argh!!! I'm so frustarted with henry. Honestly, what is his problem?!?!and I hate that James...tricked her? Maybe not the right wording, but he didn't give her the whole truth on what their summer in Greece would seem like to Henry
but his tender touch with Persephone and his constant swooning over her is KILLING me! UGH, it's painful...

I'm having a tough time with Henry. I dislike him so so so very much - and I am kind of losing respect for Kate for accepting all that he did to her.

I know, I thought they would jump in too - but I guess not everyone knows about the novellas so maybe that's why they didn't have them in?so, after I was done with this one...i went ahead and got 2.5 - The Goddess Legacy. Have you seen this one?
it's pretty long but I think it's short stories....I'm not sure if it's tied to this story....
Do you think you could forgive Henry if you were Kate?? see him with persephone and know he was so hung up on her and....forgive him? trust him? and stay...?
Yes I have it too!! I saw some of the reviews, lots of great reviews for that one, I guess it's just for us to get a better insight of these characters/the Gods and Goddesses we've met. I'm sure it's about before they met Kate and short stories about stuff that happened back then.
Never in a million years, Kate keeps using that "he's going to fade out if I leave" excuse. I don't like it but then again we don't want him to fade... Do we? ugh this guy LOL
I think if I was Kate, and I'd watch that Persephone meeting.. My heart would be shattered to pieces and I don't think anyone would be able to pick up my pieces easily. I would definitely be a mess and I don't know how Kate managed to forgive him that easily. And the crazy thing is she was the one that kept putting up a fight..did you know or did you think about that if Kate hadn't seen them then he wouldn't have EVER mentioned it?? lol
I know!!! how horrible is that??? To never mention that.Ugh...I just couldn't imagine. I'm married (happily for many many years..lol...)...and I just couldn't imagine staying after knowing I was his second choice. And that if she ever came back, I'd be pushed aside
so does that mean we want to read the next one together too!?!? :D
exactly :(Adonis seemed really weird though, I felt like we weren't even properly introduced to him...we know nothing about him other than that he's Persephone's husband and that he's apparently hot according to Kate. I'm guessing he's a nobody in the story then??
James was such a douche, I can't believe how he let Henry believe that James and Kate were involved....I also can't believe that Persephone used to cheat on Henry WITH James.....out of order!! I didn't ever think James would do anything like that, he was partly the reason to the way Henry was acting..
Well well, after the first book we should've gotten the message, clearly this author's characters aren't who we believe they claim to be and they'll always end up surprising us with absurd things
of course :DI can't wait to see how this ends, hopefully not like Boundless......
oh and Kathy is joining us isn't she??
