A newer one that I just got done reading. The theme isnt zombie or big nuclear war, it kind of is just a story about life after a general collapse and how one guy and some families get along.
I liked it for not being 'another' book in the genre that is kind of getting played out. No big one guy saves the planet or anything like that. It has a semi-antihero main character, the plot is more continual instead of a buildup to a big event, kind of just a good braincandy read that wasnt depressing or preachy like most the others.
The author did a few things that kept it different too so I liked that. Couple errors and small editing issues but they didnt take away from the story at all.

Anyone else checked this one out yet?
