Bonnie Milani (bonniemilani) | 12 comments Hi, All -
I posted the opening Chapter to my sci fi novel Home World on Goodreads a few weeks back. I must be doing something seriously wrong because I can't find it even on a name search. Please clue me in how to fix this?

A.K. (akbutler) Tell us how you posted it, what the process you used was. :)

Bonnie Milani (bonniemilani) | 12 comments Ummm..embarrassing as it is, I couldn't even figure out where or how to find the posting site; Rivka was kind enough to send me a link with the posting place in it & I worked from there. I did see it post, so I do believe it's there. Somewhere. Only when I do a title search I get 37 pages of every other story with the word 'Home' in it - but never Home World.

Oh! Process...just cut & pasted from a Word doc.

What am I missing?

Bonnie Milani (bonniemilani) | 12 comments Is that the way folks on Goodreads normally find new stories? Seems really weird that a title search won't bring the story up.

Forgive my ignorance, but as you can tell, i'm totally new to this site.

A.K. (akbutler) If you want it to show up in a search, you have to register as an author (http://www.goodreads.com/author/program) and create a book. You need an ISBN for that. Then you can upload the eBook or a sample.

If you're looking for just somewhere to post tidbits of a story that's not actually published, you might look at a website like WattPad. :)

Bonnie Milani (bonniemilani) | 12 comments Ah, HAH! Thought I'd done that, but will go back & double check; I'll bet I missed adding the ISBN number.

Cannot BEGIN to thank you enough for the guidance!
