Why Do You Like Twilight?

I started reading Twilight sometime last year, and i fell in love with the entire series because of Edward and Bella. The reason i became a fan was because of Breaking Dawn, that is my favorite book out of the entire series. When the Twilight movies first became popular, i watch the first movie and i didn't like it. It took me a year or two to actually read the series and i found out that they were much better than the movies (as they usually are lol). So after reading the books about tree time each lol, i became a Twilight fan! :D

For me it started in 8th grade. I don't know why, but I read Eclipse first. Then I read the whole series. While reading I fell in love with Edward and his relationship with Bella. It was like I was lfalling in love with him along side her, and feeling everything she was feeling. I really like Breaking Dawn, and chapter 20 in Eclipse.

lol i started to read the series 2 months ago or something, i dont like edward and bella is annoying BUT what made me love the series is the atmosphere itself, the idea of trying 2 break certain stereotypes we were raised with like vampires run away from crosses for example, i'm begging to dig the werewolf/ vampire thing. i also love the coven, the vampires royal family :D its a great touch, so the series isn't as bad as people say, its not bad tbh

nop :D i know its weird but i can say that mm i love alice and the rest of edward's family. till now i dont consider my self with team jacob or team edward i need to finish eclipse first to c on which side am i

I started reading Twilight in November 2008 right after my friend Karen invited me to join goodreads. I purchased a copy while standing at the grocery store as it was on sale and I wanted to do the 900 Twilight questions on the neverending quiz and get them all right. Some of them are very tough. So who was to know I would fall in love with it?

"Its like a drug for me"..it really is. Addicted to Twilight and most mystified. Why is that?

Twilight is a great love story - a shy but inwardly strong, confident and funny female character; an interesting and irresistible male lead; a love so great that each puts the other's happiness and welfare above their own; conflict when her best friend falls in love with her [and can offer her a better life]; bad guys, good guys (who win); a family and community of friends, and each individual has an interesting and unique personality that we connect with and enjoy "being" with--in fact, we don't want the books to end because we want to spend more time with them. These are among the things I loved, and Stephanie Meyer did a great job bringing them to her readers.

For me, Twilight isn't about a vampire story or a sci-fi read (in fact, it feels like an unseen extension of the real world).

So I ask you all; Are there ANY other books that offer all those things mentioned above? (sans vampires & less sci-fi...)

Twilight is such an amazing series. I loved it from start to finish. Stephenie Meyer created such a cool world. I love Edward's family but as I re read the series I'm starting to like Carlisle. He was the one who started not eating human blood and he's a doctor. He doesn't turn people into vampires because he feels like it... Only to save lives.
New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn... twilight is one of the top three best series I ever read!

Well I just love it. It was the book that got me into reading and I just think it is great. There is so much love but also action at some points and also you as the reader feel apart of the world that Bella is living in because of how SM wrote it. I just can't explain why I love it so much. No matter what my friends say how bad it is I just have no choice but to love it....
