Thank you! I will check it out.

If you know the IBSN or ASIN of the book you are edition you are looking for, you can type it in the "search books" function, Susy :)
If that particular edition has been cataloged, it should appear in your search results.
Also, when you click "all editions" you can change the format (paperback, Kindle, audiobook, etc) you're searching for, in order to narrow it down.

Hey,
Unfortunately the coding on the website doesn't support other font types so you can only make the basic changes: italic, bold, etc.

You are most welcome :)
If it's a physical copy you have, there is the "scan books" feature on the phone, but I've never personally tried it so no clue as how (or if) it works :)

Google and Amazon are my best friends when it comes to figuring editions out.
I'm not an Apple user, but what I usually do is : if you can find out what publishing house it is and/or the publication date, Amazon could be used to search for the ISBN and then you could use that to find the correct edition on Goodreads.
It's kind of a roundabout way of doing things but yeah.... :D

Having said that, I always use my browser t..."
Thanks very much for that. I thought there was a shortcut - it will save me so much time. Thanks again.

No problem! Happy to help :)

What about books that we've been reading prior to July 1st, but complete reading between July 1st and September 30th? Would they count, too?
I have always counted my book count based on the day I finish them not the day I start them so I told her as long as they were finished between the three months of the challenge it counts.is that wrong?

I do the same as Kara. I have also seen some people put the link to their threads on their Goodreads profile, so they can easily access it :)

We have a group read every month, you can currently nominate a book for November with the theme togetherness. Soon there will be a poll to vote for the November group read!
Hope this answers your question :)

Rest assured that if there is not one this quarter, there will be another marathon challenge down the road. Lots of folks enjoy them!

There will be a second one up soon. Apologies for the delay!

I have a question as you all know I am on the welcome committee, is there a way to delete duplicate names? I just sent out three welcome letters to 3 people with the exact same profile information. I don't mind sending them out at all I'm just curious if you have seen dups before. the three names are Kyle, Louie, Herb,
thanks

Thank for ths info and all the hard work the mod team does to make this an amazing group.

Folder is up! :)"
Thank you! I got organized yesterday! Ya'll are awesome.

Yes, I thought so too. I was wondering because I see a lot of people reserving comments for their challenges. When they edit those in the course of 2018, we won’t know, seeing that we don’t get a notification....

People reserve comments in their member feeds because they like to have all their challenges in a row. I haven't even started my member thread because I still don't know how many challenges I'm doing.

Last year, being my first year in the group, it took me for forever to set up my challenge thread just because I had no clue what to expect. I ended up reserving something along the lines of 150 comments that later got removed as the months passed, which is why all my comments are created on December 16th 2016 and then edited. In retrospect, 150 reserved spots might have been overkill since I now have 46 messages and 6 of those are just reserved spots :D Something tells me the perfectionist in me will do the exact same thing this year :D lol

What I meant with that I deleted the reserved comments was more in terms of, for instance, if I don't join any challenges in a given month and that month passes, then I delete the two spots I had reserved. Case in point, I didn't join any monthlies in May or June, so the 4 comments I had reserved for those months, I just deleted once I knew I wouldn't be participating in any. That way it provides me a more clear overview and appears more clean cut, in my opinion :)
