Michael (michaeljsullivan) Some people know it from the start, others aren't certain even after finishing the book. When did you figure it out...or are you still suspicious?

message 2: by Sandi (new)

Sandi (sandikal) I'm such a bad, bad, bad reader. I skipped ahead, so I knew who the bad person was.

message 3: by Elena (new)

Elena I never figured it out. I kept thinking it was the sister, with her having the bloody dagger and all, which now I don't remember how she got a hold of it.

message 4: by Tanya (new)

Tanya (tawnycat) Well from the first I knew the dwarf had killed the king, but I didn't figure out the man behind the curtain until about the middle of the book.

message 5: by Leslie Ann (new)

Leslie Ann (leslieann) | 224 comments I didn't figure out the man behind the killing was the archduke until about midway through, and like Henry, the church's involvement took me by surprise.

message 6: by Tracy (new)

Tracy Dobbs | 121 comments I knew that the dwarf had killed the king immediately. Because we knew our heroes hadn't done it, and it was too convenient for him to "appear" to give the alarm. I didn't figure out who the "big bad" was, just that it wasn't Arista. (Although, if I'm going to use Buffy speak, I would say that the Church or a person in the Church is the true "big bad")
