How long do you read for?

I usually read at work or around bed time and occasionally I'll have an audio book in the car.

Maybe you need glasses ? maybe a poorly lit environment ?
you really should't be getting headaches from reading from such a short time.

Same here. I always read on my lunch break, and if I'm lucky, I find a little more time in the evening.
I agree with Carrie. My day just doesn't feel like its been lived to its fullest if I dont read. I am budgeting my time. I make it a priority, to read, at least 2 hours daily. If my day is chaotic, I read at least 1/2 hour after my family has gone to bed. By that time, there are no distractions. Time to just wind down.

I agree! I take my Kindle every where. Add in line at the pharmacy! At the bank! It's just not a good day without a book.

The Vampire Academy series is one series that I finished in a week, I just can't put the books down. My general rule is, if a book (400pgs max) takes me more then 2 days to finish (including breaks) then it's a bad book. Even most iffy books I can't put down. I have had a few books that I rate 2 stars but still completed within that 2 day range :P

Then at night I might read up to an hour (if I'm also surfing GR and FB). Or if its a really gooooooiooooooid read I'll do 2-3 hrs if I can.
So a work day - 2.5 hours ish
Non work day - maybe only 1-1.5 hours unfortunately (got a 3 year old)

Heather, I listen while walking or sitting outside with my dogs. I read my Kindle in all sorts of places: waiting in line, waiting at the doctor's, et cetera.

I don't know. When i read I forget about everything else:) it's funny because when I start reading I do it with the intention of reading only for 10-20 min.
So i think i read most of the day, but it also depends of the book;)

I do this as well--I have Kindle on my iPhone (and iPad). It makes waits in line at the post office or DMV much more bearable.

For me, it's doctor's offices and being in line at the pharmacy.

6-7 hours/sitting
14-15 hours/day
1-2 books/day
10-15 books/week (at max)

Me too! I'm so addicted to reading..

As a fun FYI...I use to travel several times per year for work when I was self-employed. I'd have trouble going to sleep in hotels. I overcame that by taking my current book with me. I'd read in my hotel bed in the evening. I would go to sleep much easier that way.

Also, if I have a migraine or a sinus headache, I just can't wear my glasses. This is when I do my bingeing on audiobooks!
