cool! i always win 'cause not all of my friends have read them and no1 else wants Jasper or Carlisle so it's all good! :)
I read the book after the film was released. I didnt really know that it was based on a book untill one of my friends gave me a shot of it. I thought twilight was amazing and could wait to read the rest of the saga. I bought the rest o fthe saga when i was half way through twilight thats how much i loved it.
I read it more than half a year ago...once kids in my school saw other ppl read it everyone wanted to read it. It spread like a virus! Not a bad virus....
One of those really good, non fatal viruses? :) Maybe it was like the fifth disease... (I know I'm wierd)
hehe i knowfirst someones sis was reading it so they had 2 read it which passed 2 her 3 friends then someone else started reading it and already 2 ppl had and then i started then my friend started and then my other 2 friends...ya its crazy..and theres more ppl...but those ppl r jst in my class
March last year...since then I've been obsessed!!! I was introduced to it by my sister indirectly. She was reading New Moon and over her shoulder i read the lines where she said she has to feed Charlie-I thought he was her pet!- and then she read Eclipse and i read where Jake 'kidnapped her' from school with his bike-i thought some mean old freak of a vampire kept her like a near prisoner-Then I asked my sis what the hell she was reading and she told me I wouldn't understand til I read Twilight....so I did and now she's a Twilight hater because of my obsession and becuz so many ppl likes it...and then I got my entire group of friends, classmates, associates and friends' friends to read it cuz i was ranting about the books every chance i got and they had no clue what i was talking about!!!
So Sharda, she's a lover gone rouge? *Tsk Tsk*
i just joined the group here. i read it after the movie came out on DVD and I saw it because I was like "what's the big deal about this movie" - now I know, it's an incredible story!
Melzz wrote: "So Sharda, she's a lover gone rouge? *Tsk Tsk* "Don't look at me like it's my fault! Look at it this way....one person's gone over to the dark side and i got over 200 others hooked ;)
Lol, no I wasnt blaming you. I was just sad that she went rouge. You did good!
i think i'm a little glad she isn't as obsessed as i am.We might burn the house down and hope Edward would come and save us!...Really, i don't think it's safe for anyone around if we both teamed up as Twilight lovers.lol! :)BTW....i recently changed my religion to Twilightism and a good Fanfiction friend joined me.We now have our own prayer.Check it out! My penname's obsessedovredward.Just search and u'll find the prayer on my profile page.....

Well, I had never heard of Twilight until the movie came out. I went and saw it, then after the movie was over I immediately ran to Barnes & Noble! I have been hooked ever since!!! Love love love Edward :)
It actually took me a while to decide to read Twilight. Several of my friends started pestering me to read it about two years ago, but I was still pretty leery. The whole concept just didn't seem like something I wanted to read, but last March I decided to give it a try. wow! I was blown away and I read the entire saga in under a week. As soon as I finished I wished that I had listened to my friends earlier. Oh well, I guess you can't change the past, but I am a proud 17 1/2 month Twilighter. :)
i read all of them last summer
im on eclipse, a little over 1/2 way done. my friend wants me 2 finish b4 school gets out , and theres only about 9 days left!! AAHHHH but shes letting me borrow breaking dawn 4 teh summer...cuz thats how long im probably gonna take!
Well thats okay, savor the book. It's great that you dont rush it iluvcats. :)

I didn't read the series until after the movie was released on DVD. I actually got turned off of vampire books because of Anne Rice and was never interested before. But when I saw the movie for the first time, I was honestly disappointed because it was only an "okay" movie so I decided to read the books to see what the hype was all about. I was hooked right away and finished the series in five days and have read all the excerpts on the website and books four times now.
Thats a great story Mellady :)

good for u Mellady.
good for u Mellady.
I read it the month the movie came out. Not because it was going to be a movie. In fact it being a movie made me not want to read it. I had seen the book close to when it first came out, but back then I was young and it looked long.

Not likely. I'm glad I did read it though, it was a great book.
I first read it when the movie came out. I didn't know a thing about it but was hooked all the way through. I had no money to buy the whole series so I had to go to the library and wait on the blasted holds!!!!! That sucked so much out loud! I finally bought the saga for my easter present! hee hee TEAM EDWARD all the way
