➳Halina➳ Favorite authors? John Green, Veronica Roth, Rainbow Rowell, and Adam Gidwitz (he's hilarious).

Favorite books? The Divergent trilogy, The Fault in Our Stars, Harry Potter series, Eleanor and Park, and many more.

Favorite genres (other than just YA books)? Fantasy, dystpoian, any sci-fi actually, and really any other fiction.

What first draws your interest in a book? I've usually heard about it from my friends or social media

Are there any books that have made you cry? The Fault in Our Stars, Allegiant, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and Eleanor and Park.

What do you look for most in a book? In other words, what makes a book great? The book changes the way I think about different things (*Cough*TFiOS+Divergent*Cough*) and if there's a lot of metaphors and a complex plot (*Cough*Harry Potter*Cough*)

Adrienne Hughes (nerdyllama) avorite authors?

Favorite books?
Hello,

Contemporary, mystery/suspense/paranormal, historical, classics.
I like books about lives I don't understand, countries I have never been to and times before I was born. The only genre I haven't been able to grasp is Fantasy.

The opening is pretty important, getting the feel of the book. Is it serious, is it funny, is it insightful. Most important is the way it is written rather than the style. Poor use of adjectives, and story flow just puts me off.

Usually if its recommended by more than one person or I have read the review or the blurb. I have a few favorite authors of which I will read any book they bring out.

Now I am a mother, I am unable to read anything shocking or heartwreching about children. It literally hurts my heart too much, which is part of the reason I enjoy YA.
I did not cry at Fault in the Stars, although I cant remember any book I have cried at.

Favorite genres (other than just YA books)?
I'm a huge fantasy girl, sci-fi, romantic elements in a book but not straight up romance, fiction, etc.

What first draws your interest in a book?
The spine (not the cover but the spine), and/or the title. If they make me ooooh then I have to have it

Are there any books that have made you cry?
cry, scream, yell, laugh, throw, yup.

What do you look for most in a book? In other words, what makes a book great?
I'm a sucker for really elegant and pretty writing, some amazing characters, royalty, and a little bit of romance.
