Search by ISBN

What's the best way to look up a book by ISBN? Currently I'm just going to http://www.goodreads.com/book/isbn/&l..., and if it redirects to http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/, I'll extract the book_id from the URL, otherwise count it as a failed search.
