Which books must never be subjected to sequels? Or being filmed???

Right now I can only think of the obvious: and death of author apparently is not a safe enough goal, Gone with the wind got a sequel.

I read Susn Hill's sequel to Rebecca - Mrs De Winter - it bored me to tears, appalling. (And I do like Susan Hill). However another sequel to Rebecca - Rebecca's Tale by Sally Beauman - was quite enjoyable.

I do agree, the Gone With The Wind sequel was terrible.
