http://youtu.be/c1jT-MI5UBQ

A widow, Camille Young, wants nothing more but to have someone to call her
own; with the right man of course. Just when she thinks she found him in
Greg Langston – a smart, sexy, and brilliant attorney - who is very married
and expecting his first child with his wife Michelle, their future gets put
on hold. When things don’t go Camille's way as she hoped, the pain of her
past resurfaces.
Camille has a plan that will affect everyone around her. When Greg's wife
is targeted, Greg turns to Camille for answers. Was this part of her
plan?...Suddenly Greg finds himself in a situation with a woman who will
stop at nothing to make him her own, even if it means destroying his family
and her own life.
Camille's entire world seems to unravel as she spirals out of control, not
letting anything or anyone get in her way. Someone to Call My Own is a
compelling story of lies, desperation and betrayal, and the consequences
that follow when an encounter with the wrong woman has a man fighting to
save the lives of the ones he love.

Amber Haupt | 2 comments Hello! I recently published my book through createspace. It's called "Into the Pack" and is book one of a trilogy. Here's the synopsis.

The balance of the forest is offset. The result is war.

With an abusive father at home, the call of the forest becomes too much for seventeen year old Andrew Catania to ignore anymore. But with that one choice he sets off a chain of events, starting with waking up as a wolf himself and being thrown into their world. Secrets start to come to light about his past and how it led him to become a wolf in the first place.

The more Andrew lives with the wolves, the harder it is for him to decide where he truly belongs: With his new family or the one he left behind. Soon enough, the choice will be made for him as a war is brewing between the pack, the wolf gods they call Overseers, and the demons known as Shadow Creatures. And Andrew is at the center of it all, though he will soon learn that he's not the only one with a destiny intertwined with the Overseer of the Wolves....

The war for the forest has only just begun.

I know it has a two star review, but it was only because the person didn't like my ending (which has since changed). I hope you can give it a try and leave me another review. Thanks so much! :)

Taylor Hondos (tayloralexishondos) | 1 comments Hello everyone(:
My book came out yesterday at Booklocker.com (http://booklocker.com/books/7467.html) and is online at Barnes&Noble.com and Amazon.com. It is coming out on Nook, Kindle, Kobo and iBooks sometime in June.

My book is called "The Antidote" and it is Young Adult Science Fiction. The book is about a cure for a disease that ends up being worse than the disease itself.

Here is the synopsis-
Today the world lives in fear for a deadly disease going around by the name of Dermadecatis. No one knows how it is contracted, but whenever you have it, you rot from the inside, out. Lena’s father, Dr. Alona, is a man with a dark secret, who discovered the “Black Sickness” and was searching for a cure, until he was mysteriously murdered. For months following his death, Lena lived isolated from the world, until she is forced into a night on the town where she hears the news of a cure. Could there really be a cure?

I self-published with Booklocker.com and can't wait for it to be out on Nook and Kindle as an Ebook(:

Steven Simpson | 9 comments I published my book Wizard Blues (about two brothers who develop magical abilities) in April. Here is a little excerpt:

...“My great-grandfather, on my mother’s side, was a wizard and did much good in the lands away north. We’ve noticed that you boys are showing some talents. We want you to know that it’s nothing to be afraid of, and if you have any questions we’ll try to find answers for you.”
The boys sat mum, looking at each other for a moment, then Emissir began, “When I put something somewhere, it’ll stay there like I glued it.”
“Can you show us?” his parents asked.
He stood a fork on its tines upon his empty plate and said, “Stay,” as if he were training a puppy. When he let go, the fork stayed in place. He lifted the plate and tipped it this way and that while the fork remained perpendicular. He put the plate back down on the table, and said, “OK,” and the fork fell over with a clatter. “And I don’t have to tie my shoes,” he added with a grin.
Without a word, Delothir poured some salt from the shaker into his water glass and stirred it. He put the shaker down and squinted at the glass. Above the surface of the water a faceted crystal formed and hovered. It grew into a diamond shape, changed into a cube, into a perfect sphere, and then collapsed back into the water.
“Um, yes,” said Ardun, looking a little nervously at Orissa, “like that...”

Thanks! More to come.

Steven Simpson | 9 comments Here's excerpt #2 from my book Wizard Blues:

...The remaining villagers stood aghast as the torches caught the lamp oil the twins had spread inside the house. They had laid Ardun and Orissa’s bodies together on their bed. The flames built silently inside for some minutes, flashing a strange light behind Orissa’s pretty curtains. Smoke came out of the chimney — the home displaying the last seconds of its image of quaint, bucolic, bliss. Several windows blew in at once, throwing shards of glass about inside. The baffled mourners retreated several steps as the fire raged both inside and out. Thick smoke rose from the blaze and curled into the sky. Emissir and Delothir watched impassively as their childhood burned away... Thx!

G. (grefuture) | 5 comments Hey all...I just released my 3rd book, and I wanted to get some opinions on it. It is a different direction for me in my writing, as that I tackle a subject that I have little knowledge about (a gay lead dealing with the consequences of his chosen path).

Here is the synopsis:

The 21st Century is approaching its midpoint, and the world has changed. While nations still have their own names, there are no longer any borders. What was once 196 different governments and ideologies has been reduced to one. One of the most successful men in this new world is JaFrancis Brownell . A video game and book publisher, he is worth billions, with a fan base to match. At the verge of publishing his 200th title, a friend brings to his attention something from the past that he didn't know existed, forcing him to come face to face with someone he hasn't seen in years...his father, Franklin. A writer who never made it, he is a bitter and bigoted man nearing the end of his life's journey. Angry at his son for not only ignoring his own natural gift for writing, but for his lifestyle choices as well, the two strong-willed men butt heads. But an unexpected threat due to JaFrancis' fame brings danger from those who want what he has. Now both father and son not only face years of hurt feelings, but a clock that will definitely strike midnight for one of them...but not in a way either one expected.

It is based on blogs that I wrote, in particular one I wrote voicing my views on homosexuality (don't worry, I wasn't an a** about it...:) Of course reviews would be nice, but opinions would be great as well. I am even willing to give away 20 copies (kindle format) in exchange for reviews and opinions. Thanks!

Dave Hickman | 1 comments The Book of Bio-Spiritual Yum Yum Goodness!: Thoughts, Theories, and humor from a Hypersensitive, Fanboy Comedian

Last year, I discovered I have something called Emotional Hypersensitivity, a condition scientifically proven that 20% of all people are hardwired to sense things, like emotions, and have it cranked up inside them. I've struggled with being overwhelmed on and off for years. While finding my own peace of mind, I've had some deep thoughts, weird perspectives and revelations. This book is an assembly of them.

The Book of Bio-Spiritual Yum Yum Goodness! is what I term a New Age/Self-Help/Comedy book unlike any other. It goes into everything from learning how to de-stress, thoughts on the paranormal and psychic ability, possibilities of finding our full potentials, even a chapter on aliens and UFO's. All told with the kind of comedy and language you'd find in a stand-up comic's routine. I think of it as kinda like The Celestine Prophecy, only with more dirty jokes and naughty words.

I self-published it on Createspace, which you can find here: https://www.createspace.com/4856036

It's also available on Amazon.com, as both paperback and Kindle Ebook!

http://www.amazon.com/Book-Bio-Spirit...

and

http://www.amazon.com/Book-Bio-Spirit...

If you want a book with deep thoughts, new ways of thinking and perceiving the world around you, all while having a laugh and not taking things too seriously? This is worth a look. Fluffy Unicorns in the book are a bonus. Let the battle cry be heard! Yum Yum!

Tobacco Jones | 1 comments Hi all! My first novel Ghosts in the Machine (by Tobacco Jones) was released today on Amazon, under my own imprint Geek Lit Press.

Here's the blurb:
In a secret world inside the most advanced computers, life has evolved. A race of electronic beings has arisen, who adore humans, but desperately fear being discovered—and erased. They call themselves ghosts.

Renly de la Gloire is a temperamental, socially awkward ghost who alienates his classmates on his first day of college just by introducing himself. For the first time, his famous family name is not an asset. His troubles mount when his burning desire to escape leads him to a grey sim, a lawless region where he can go out into the real world—for a price. But as the son of a powerful family, Renly is a target, and he stands to lose a lot more than his money.

He can lose his soul.

Hi

I have just self-published my first book. It explores my spiritual journey through a series of actual events from my life. Spanning almost 40 years, the book helps illustrate how we all live spiritual lives, we just may not know it.

Excerpt from the chapter "Just Ask" which centres around a budgie but has a more profound message.

As a child I accepted and believed what I experienced was real, real to me. I just assumed everyone knew about it. I had not been taught to the contrary so asking for help to save the bird was something I didn’t doubt, question or really give much thought to; I just asked.

Cheers

Shawn McGuire (shawn_mcguire) Hi everyone! So happy to find self-pub groups. I'm Shawn McGuire and I've got two YA books out. Just sent #3 to my editor. Here are the blurbs for #1 and #2:

STICKS AND STONES

Everyone has a dark side. Mandy’s just moved in with her.

The last time sixteen-year-old Mandy Matteo broke a rule, her sister died. Since that day she has done only what is expected of her, but life as a goody-goody has made Mandy so boring her friends have all but abandoned her. And she’s given up on ever getting Ethan, the boy she’s liked forever, to notice her. Desperate, Mandy makes a wish to simply be happy.

Enter Desiree, a hippie from Woodstock serving a fifty-year indenture as a Wish Mistress (aka a genie). Years of only granting and never receiving her own wish have left Desiree bitter. Arranging for Mandy to right her biggest wrong – the exact thing Desiree would wish for – only makes things worse.

Still, Desiree does her job and grants the wish and happiness arrives for Mandy in the form of Lexi, her childhood imaginary friend come to life. Magical wishes have conditions though: Once started, the wish cannot be altered or revoked. Also, once Mandy is truly content with her life again, Lexi must go back to where she came from. However, the longer Lexi is alive the more she loves being alive, and she’ll do whatever it takes to stay that way.

BREAK MY BONES

Everyone makes mistakes. Crissy’s just might kill her.

Seventeen-year-old Crissy Sheets was so sure Brad was the one, she believed him when he swore the first bruise was an accident. She believed him when he told her he loved her after the second. Now trapped in an abusive relationship with no idea of how to get out, she’s all but given up on ever having the life she dreams of. With little to lose, Crissy wishes for a better future.

With only five years to go in her fifty-year indenture, Desiree, a hippie Wish Mistress (aka a genie) arrives to grant Crissy’s wish. She isn’t supposed to get involved with her charges. Her job is to provide what’s needed for the wish to come true and move along. This time that means stepping aside as things get not only get worse for Crissy, they turn deadly. Standing by is what she’s supposed to do. But then, Desiree never has played by other people’s rules.

I'm happy to help you all with tweets, etc. I'm going to be running a Halloween giveaway next week that I'm excited about. I'll post about that later though.

Hi. I'm very new to all of this. I just recently self-published a trilogy of novellas (~25,000 words a piece) as a single book.

It can be found: http://www.amazon.com/The-Centerpoint... <- hard copy.

http://www.amazon.com/Centerpoint-Tri... <- kindle edition.

A trilogy of novellas centering around the powers given to a group of children by a kidnapper.

Centerpoint: Two young adults find that they were childhood victims of the same cult. Can they keep that cult from rising again?

Counterpoint: Parents must protect their children from the forces that have been haunting them all of their lives.

Breakingpoint: Two young women must cope with an extraterrestrial threat linked to their powers.

I am definiely planning on doing a giveaway soon or perhaps some kind of promotion for reviews, so don't feel pressured to buy immediately, but maybe at least check out the amazon sample.

Menace in the Walls is based on true medical events surrounding a mysterious mold in Cleveland, Ohio during the early 1990s

While working in a research laboratory in Cleveland General Hospital during a summer break, 13 year-old Joshua stumbles upon the hazard that claimed the life of his beloved horse, Mandy. He is determined to solve the mystery. During the course of the book, Joshua uncovers his sister Kelley's inadvertent link to a sinister plot involving the mysterious deaths of infants. Readers are faced with the question of whether Joshua can solve the case without putting his life and Kelley's in danger.

Hi everyone! I am so excited to connect with you all on here. Just a brief background - my name is Bianca and I am a first-time author, as well as the creator of lifestyle blog, The Friendly Fig. I am excited to have just published my first YA novel, Nerina.

You can learn more about the book, see the soundtrack, and buy it from here: http://thefriendlyfig.com/nerina-a-no...

You can also buy on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Nerina-Story-Me...

A quick synopsis:
A curious mermaid takes her chance to explore what is left of Skyland after an asteroid hits Earth, but she gets more than she bargained for.

Twenty-two-year-old Nerina befriends Luke and Mae, a twenty-three year-old boy who colors her world, and his thirteen-year-old sister. Nerina spends as much time as she can with her new friends, despite having only a few days before her legs turn back. Going back home to her family gets tough when her feelings for Luke are sparking like live wires. What’s even tougher? Not being able to return home safely after her family’s eerie past comes back to haunt her.

Randy McWilson (randymcwilson) | 1 comments Thank you to the admins that be that crafted such a group.

My background is in video/digital cinema production, having taught Digital Media for 15 years at a technical school. The bulk of my writing experience has been feature-length screenplays, but a few years ago I decided to dive into the realm of episodic-television teleplays.
I created a TV series called "Back to Normal" about a motley group of people that have involuntarily jumped in time back to the late 1940s and early 1950s. They are being hunted by the CIA and the KGB and are desperate to discover a technological breakthrough to send them all home.
At the encouragement of several Hollywood-insiders, I converted my TV concept into a fiction novel series. It will be a 4-book quadrilogy, and the first novel is available now on Amazon as eBook and paperback. "Paradigm Rift" is book one of the "Back to Normal series".

Sales have been encouraging, and (to date) it has maintained a perfect 5-star rating. I am working on book two currently.
