um y not. it wont be fair on those who read the BOTM already and not count it. so yea rereading can count

I agree with Jess with the rereading. Rereads count towards the Themed Challenge too.

Oh, I was hoping you were familiar with Legend. I'll be doing the quote polls tomorrow, so would you like to find me about six good quotes from Legend? You can find them in the book or on Goodreads or whatever. You would just need to put them on this thread so I could copy and paste them into the polls.

Hey, the first and the sixth quotes are actually the same ones, just with a small difference. So, I'm using the extra one anyway.

Okay, here's the point: urban fantasy is our genre theme, and I've got a request from my fellow mods. I need a huge list of things related to urban fantasy. Creatures, popular/distinct settings, common terms--whatever, as long as it is related to the genre or an urban fantasy book. I need a minimum of forty items, but I would prefer much more. I'll be finding some, but it would be much quicker if we all pitched in. You'll see where I'm going with this. ;)

This is Goodreads explanation of the genre:Urban fantasy is a subset of contemporary fantasy, consisting of novels and stories with supernatural and/or magical elements set in contemporary, real-world, urban settings--as opposed to 'traditional' fantasy set in imaginary locations. do you have any themes for next month theme botm? i was gonna collect a bunch of themes, do a poll, then collect nominations for the themes and do another poll. i dont remember if we did that last month. i dont have the most amazing memory haha

A thread is open for regular BOTM. Nominations will be put on a poll on July 17th.
A thread is open for theme nominations. I'm opening a poll today. The theme picks will be:
- werewolves
- Debut Novels (authors first book)
- Dystopian
- 2011-2012
- around the world
- title beginning with the letter a-m
It will close on the 13th and then a thread will be opened for the chosen theme nominations and then along with the regular BOTM a poll will be opened on the 17th.
