Do you think Sula would have acted differently if she had some type of “father-figure” at home, such as a granddad or dad?
It depends whether the father was a strong father figure or a womanizer. But if i remember this book wasnt her mom kinda loose which led to her being wild. I think if the parent figure in her life she would have been stable in the decisions she made. That is not to say she still wouldnt have chosen awful men bc we all have frogs before we find a prince
