Nova Zaiden After reading Shatter Me, I was like "Warner, die!" But then I read Destroy Me and everything changed. Is there really an "evil" and good guy to choose from? If you haven't read Destroy Me (or Unravel Me) I'll keep the seccret from you. It isn't Warner's fault he's like this... it's the parentals... DUN DUN DUHHH!!

No, seriously. Your thoughts?

Rebekah I haven't read Destroy Me, but I think Warner probably is.... everything weird. (if you know what i mean)
He's got that 'its me and you against the world' thing going on. Whatever happened in that book, he still has the opportunity to change. Power to change, in fact. For the greater good.
I wouldn't really label him as a bad guy but just in the 'unsure' box. There's still sense in him.
Because there was something else that I liked about him, which I found interesting. And that was when he befriended Juliette. It wasn't just her powers he was intrigued by but, something more. I couldn't decipher what, but I'm dying to find out. I don't know. It's left this huge question on my forehead......

Annie I like Adam...Warner is a Psycho...but I am just now starting Unravel me...and haven't read Destroy me...so I will form a decision after this book...I just want Juliette to be safe and loved!

Luana C. I don't care about Juliette, if she like Adam - Go on, girl! But DON'T touch Warner.
There's something mysterious about him. (Haven't read vol.2, so... until now, I like him.) :D

Kylah I've read Shatter Me, Destroy Me, and Unravel Me.

And if you guys read books 1.5 and 2, Warner is really awesome. He will make you fall in love with him...

message 6: by Amy (new) - rated it 5 stars

Amy I am in love with Warner! I have read all the books that are out and I feel like Warner is so different and complex and interesting a well as sad. At first he disturbed me in a good way but now I literally love him. I'm just so tired of the perfectly good guy always getting the girl, if you can understand that.

Ilana i think that there has to be another twist in book 3...it can't be all clean and simple as 2 guys that aren't quite so bad. i think that anderson is going to come back with gusto and prove to put a crink in things, but i was thinking about who the true bad guy could be. we all clearly love warner...and we all like adam...although i don't like him so much.

there has to be something though otherwise it would just be a finale of a trilogy with a love triangle and that's just too cliche and anti-climactic

Denise Haven't read Destroy Me but I'm still for Adam all the way!!! <3

I originally thought he was a psycho. Read Destroy Me. It will change everything! :)

Kate How I viewed Warner before reading Destroy Me:

1.He’s nothing but a 19-year-old ruthless boy who is desperate to get himself a girlfriend.

2.He’s annoying, pushy and offensive that I’m close to snapping the head off his neck.

3.He’s stoic. It will keep you wondering what his real motives are.

4.Remember “Him” (the devil) from Powerpuff girls? That’s the kind of voice that he would remind me of. It’s sick but it keeps on playing anyway―like a love song deeply buried inside your head after hearing it for so long.

5.He’s a psychopath. He treats Juliette like an aphrodisiac. I want to yell: Just. Go. Away. You're. Too. Annoying.

After reading Destroy Me:

1.I’m a terrible liar. Please delete the text above. Warner is a soft cotton ball you would love to fall on. Tahere Mafi has the power to turn things upside down. I was betrayed by falling into this delusion that Warner is a bad guy. He isn’t.

2.I don’t usually go for the villain but there’s something more I need to know about him. I’m afraid I would end up blurting this out: Team Warner!

3.Warner. Warner. Warner. Is all I could think of. Make sure you read his private file! Here’s a teaser:

“She is currently sleeping in my bed.

I finally provided her with the perfect opportunity to display her abilities and she fainted. The tiny, frail thing—I must make sure she eats more—just collapsed in my arms. I’ve seen my fair share of horrified persons in my nineteen years—emotions competing on the faces of my dying enemies, my own men, even myself. But the kind of terror and paralyzing fear on her face was so unexpected as to be remarkable. Jenkins, yes, I expected him to be perhaps mildly concerned for his own welfare. But this girl. The insanity I’ve been told about was all over her face only in that moment. “

“I lost her.
She hates me.
She hates me and I repulse her and I might never see her again, and it is entirely my own doing. This notebook might be all I have left of her. My hand is still hovering over the cover, tempting me to open it and find her again, even if it’s only for a short while, even if it’s only on paper. But part of me is terrified. This might not end well. This might not be anything I want to see. And so help me, if this turns out to be some kind of diary concerning her thoughts and feelings about Kent, I might just throw myself out the window.”

Nazia Aaron Warner all the way....god I wil kill someone for dat kind of guy.He totally loves Juliette,he cares for her so damn much.He is ready to take any risk to keep her,he understands her.he is ready to redeem himself.I love him toooo damn much

Then you should read Destroy Me... You probably would get an answer to that.

Yeah, I agree :)

Charlotte King in the first book i was like team Adam but now i know Warner more he is so much better and amazing. I mean everything he does for her in the 2nd book is just perfect.

Beth I've only read Shatter Me, but I think that Warner is....weird! All he really wanted was for Juliette to love him, because of how much he loved her. I just think he went about the wrong way (completely!) I'm really excited to read the sequel as I would love to see how Warner turns out and decide who I like more; Adam or Warner!

Boroj ok I seriously loved Warner from the first book. I hated that I did but I didn't mind if she turned bad and screwed with everyone els if it means being with him.. sounds dark though

message 18: by Liz (last edited Apr 25, 2013 11:57PM) (new) - rated it 5 stars

Liz i have finished reading the 3 books, and i think there is a "bad guy", but it is not Warner, it is his dad, and the only reason Warner became the person he is today because of what his father had done and taught to him, so i cannot say that Warner is a bad guy, he's just trying to do what he can to live, in fact i pity him at the same time, because of his condition, how almost everyone hate him, how everyone judge him, yet no one of them understands him, but still he stands, he fights, i admire how determined he is to not show any fear, any weakness to his father and to his soldiers and how calm he is in that situation.

Tanisha Ive only read Shatter Me, but I love Adam too much and I don't think that will change even after I read Destroy me and Unravel me! Adam is the my fav forever!!

Perenelle When I finished Shatter Me the first time, I felt like Warner was a total creep. But when I read the book a second time, I felt like Warner might actually love Juliette (for whatever reason)

I havent read Destory Me or Unravel Me yet, but i dont think there's a bad guy

Katie I've read Shatter Me, and Unravel Me, an I honestly think that if I had to chose between Adam or Warner, I would choose Warner! I mean, at first, he was a total creep, and I hated him! But, then you read his POV, and kinda get to learn how he feels. He isn't really a bad guy! It's obvious that he cares for Juliette! Adam is acting all strange by the end of Unravel Me, and it is really annoying! He seems so depressed about his situation, and doesn't really seem to be doing anything about it! I guess that you could call Warner's dad the bad guy, but i don't think that Warner is a bad guy... I am kinda sympathetic towards Warner b/c of his dad, and what he went through, and I gueeesss i'm also pity Adam too, but not as much. Adam needs to get over himself, stop lying around, and find a way to be with Juliette! Any thoughts, guys?

Bonnie I love adam and yes I have read 1.5 and did not like it. Warner is not in anyway a worthy character.. my opinion of course.. I just want Juliette and Adam to be together D:

i agree with you i haven't read drestroy me yet hope it will change my mind but i don't get how you change from Team Adam to Team Warner. Adam was the only person who loved her since they were children and still loves her after founding out about her ability. Warner just came bouncing around wanting to use her. He locked her up in a cell for like 2 to 3 years.Just don't get it.

Matthanielle Black As soon as i read about Warner in Shatter me i fell in love with him immediately.
He made every infinitesimal moment reading this book magnificent than the last one.SO GO TEAM WARNER!!!!!!!!!! ♥ ❤ ❥

message 25: by Diana (new)

Diana I don't like Adam...he is so boring. but Warner it's omg...team Warner all the way!

melsempra‧₊˚. I really love Warner better than Adam. And I loved Destroy Me! I'm Warner all the Way! <3

message 27: by Suzy (new) - rated it 4 stars

Suzy I really don't like Adam. Warner has always been the better character for me whether he was being nice or evil. I guess I prefer the ones that are more complex. Warner has so much depth and I really do believe that he could change for the better all he needs is for someone to believe in him. I can't say he's the bad guy when all his life his dad has taught him how to be a ruthless being. He is so dynamic! Adam is....not

Tamara There is a bad guy but its not Warner; its Warner's father!!!

message 29: by Manahil (last edited Jan 06, 2014 06:39PM) (new) - rated it 5 stars

Manahil Warner's definitely not the bad guy. He is PERFECT!!!!!!
(view spoiler)

Rabin Shae In Shatter me, Warner seemed very vague to me. His actions, words did not exactly feel like to me as an absolute villainous type, neither did he became the soppy so-called "good" guy. He felt..kinda deranged. someone who is quite confusing and lost.
I knew that I would like Warner more in Destroy me and I did. But another thing that I liked about that book is that it also helped me to understand Juliette too and Warner's obsession with her. He has fallen hard and what I liked the most about him is that although he wants Juliette to choose the future that he thinks she wants, he never dominates her.
And good or evil, I like Warner more because of his intensified complexity, the layers that he continuously keep on and it is very evident to know why. In some ways he reminds me of vampire Diarie's damon.

Tuğsen Haven't read Destroy Me so Team Adam for now

Micah I think a lot of people will be a bit bothered with one of the two guys in Ignite me. I am not even fan of this guy and i was a bit meh

message 33: by [deleted user] (new)

I AM IN LOVE LOVE WITH WARNER! There doesnt seem to be a bad guy in this series...I like Adam but i just love Warner so much

Tanisha So after finishing Shatter Me, I was sure I would never want Juliet to be in love with anyone but Adam..... I changed my mind!

message 35: by MJ (new) - rated it 4 stars

MJ I don't really like Adam that much in Shatter Me. I kind of knew that there's a reason behind Warner's sick attitude. So. Meh. AARON WARNER.

YA Book Bum What if Adam is really the bad guy and Warner is the good guy. How big of a plot twist would that be?

Virginia Just started shatter me and what. The. Heck. Warner is such a butt

Lilly The first book does make Warner look like "the bad guy" but throughout the series he makes you fall in love with him.

Warners father is defiantly the BAD GUY in this series

message 39: by Chloe (new)

Chloe I have read the three main books and SPOILER ALERT (Adam is a butt hole in the third one) but I just want Warner and Juliette to grow old together!!!!

Stephanie I've read all three books and Unite Me and i don't think either are a bad guy if you read at least Destroy Me and not the two other books. But they both have their moments being the "bad guy".

Jasmine I've only read the first 2 books, but just by judging right now, it seems like Adam in 'Unravel Me' literally only wants to make out and do stuff like that with Juliette.

Yesenia Hernandez I'm reading the comments and I have to admit that I just read the first book but couldn't help myself from the spoilers. Team Warner? Wha??? From the comments he sounds like a Christian Grey psycho/obsessed guy and it scares me that I may eventually end up liking him. It also really excites me that there can be such huge character shift. i can't wait to get the next book and continue.

Monise Tua After reading Shatter me I just saw Warner as the bad guy who thought Juliette never meant whatever she said about her hate toward him. I personally never hated him because he was no big deal to me, but after his confession of love toward Juliette, I just felt anger toward him because he interfered with Juliette and Adam's relationship. I also thought 'How? How could he love her after she always said she hates him and all?'.

I've finished the trilogy and it did help me understand the characters and their relationships much more. I don't think there is a bad guy. There is one who would do anything and who is protective, and the other who is encouraging and is willing to fight for what he wants.

Grace I hope noboby who has finished the trilogy still antagonizes Warner. You don't have to be team Warner but you can't think of Warner as a psycho. I also thing Adam just did a 360 on us and that came out of nowhere so I can't bring myself to hate him because that's the reason why Juliette finally decided to choose Warner.

Molly Warner is perfect. Adam in the last book is a monster. I was always team Warner from the beginning and the last book made me love him even more.

message 46: by Mary (new) - rated it 5 stars

Mary I think every person has a little dark in them so there is no real "bad guy" just one who tries to suppress his while the other is openly expressing his. if you read destroy me your point of view n theses characters will change dramatically.

Danna Avni i love warner

Danna Avni at fist i kind of liked adam, but after the second and 3rd book i can't picture anyone liking him

Zuzana At first, I thought. Yes, Adam is the guy for Juliette... He treats her right.. He gives her affection and love and that what she needs. But I also knew that there is more to Warner that meets the eye, which was confirmed in the rest of the books and wow I have fallen in love with Aaron Warner Anderson. He is the most intriguing human being who's actions and reactions and reasons always surprises. He makes you want to live your life to the fullest, not just survive it. And this is why he is a perfect choice not only for MOI but for Juliette too.

Danna Avni You can't only think of the separate guys- u need to think of how they are WHITH Juliet. Adam makes Juliet weak. She leans on him and is delicate around him. She needs to tiptoe around his feelings because God forbid that she has some sort of inner strength and decides to deal with life herself and make her own decisions with out talking to home first. With Warner- she is challenged all the time. Weather it's getting out of her comfert zone, or just dealing with new feelings, he challenges her but knows the limit. He is the perfect guy for her.
