Don't call them vampires. =D Call them Non-Vampires - or antivamps . . . yes that one. I like that one! ;)

Vampires are popular, but our blood suckers are definitely NOT vampires. No glittering pretty boys or serial killers sleeping in coffins here. Our blood suckers have ethics that would be a credit to any decent human being. To me, they are the most interesting characters in the book.
There is no ancient evil waiting to unleash itself on the world, no quest for some ancient treasure, no sword duels. There is speculation on what a world at the beginning of an industrial revolution would look like if you could meld magic with science and engineering.
The book has politics, racism, wizards, and people trying to change their world.
We wanted to write something that was unique. Let us know if we did.
