I was hoping to mention a blog post that I've put up today and couldn't find a good place for it. Instead, I started this and hope this is a good home.
First off, today's Dancing With Myself interview is from a rather exciting new talent called Dawn Reeves. As with the rest of the series, she was asked to interview herself for the purpose of my blog. The idea is that she gets to ask herself interesting questions and isn't limited by my tiny brain.
She's joining a long list of writers, bloggers, publishers and reviewers in the series, some of them from this thread!
To name a few past participants, there have been Ian Rankin, Tony Black, RJ Ellory, Mark Billingham, Emma Donoghue, Lawrence Block, LJ Sellers...it's a long list of stars and up and comers.
I'm intending to get things going again and thought I'd offer space to writers here.
My main interest is in crime and noir fiction, but I enjoy literary works that have a strong emotional or intellectual impact. There have been about 94,000 visitors so far and I'm hoping to get to 100,000 fairly soon.
If you think you might be a likely candidate, please send me an email and we can take it from there; as I mentioned, it's not just writers but people connected to writint matters.
Next week I'll be posting one by Craig Wallwork, another British talent with a diverse range of work so please check him out and see what you think.
Like I said, I think Dawn Reeves might be a name you'll become more familiar with really soon - sooner if you check out what she has to say today.
