The Host (The Host, #1) The Host question

What was your favorite scene in the book?

My favorite scene is the part where Wanda asks Ian why he hasn't killed her yet (it's at the end of Chapter 24). I like this part the most because I think it's a turning point in the way Ian views souls in general and Wanda in particular, and also a turning point in the way Wanda views humans.

One of my favorite parts, and in my opinion one of the most romantic parts in the book, is when Ian realizes that Wanda is giving her body back. He picks her up, carries her into the bedroom, drops her onto the bed, and says,``YOU ARE NOT LEAVING ME!" I've got to say, the kissing session that followed was the most romantic in the whole book.

My favorite seen in the book was at the end when wanda was in her new body and they met the bandits and when the red-headed host told the other bandits it's ok they've got one who's went native too, don't know why but it stood out the most to me.

I completely agree Jocelyn. That's definitely one of my favorite scenes in the entire book. It's just sooo romantic the way they finally admit their love for each other and how they didn't want to let each other go, even though she knew she would have to leave him. I wanted that scene to go on forever. It was so emotional I couldn't put it down until I read the end of the book and knew everything would be okay.

I liked the stories she told of the other worlds.

The best scenes was when during the trial that Ian called for Wanda against Kyle, Jared reached HIS turning point where he defended Wanda in front everyone and admited to himself as well as to Wanda that he had believed since the very first day in her innocence but just hadn't been able to convince himself. THAT, I think was the point when things really started to look up for our heroine as she had made the person who mattered the most to her believe in her...
