In early March, Lena Corazon posted this piece (http://lenacorazon.com/2013/03/04/cas...) casting Hollywood actors as the characters in The Shrilugh Saga.

What do you think? Do you have hotties (aka actors) or divas (aka actresses) in mind when you read the books!

Do share! Inquiring minds want to know!

I've never seen it. With four kids in the house, I very rarely get to watch TV, other than the occasional Netflix at night before I hit the sack. :) Thank goodness there are other folks that do, that can point guys like THIS out to me! *grins*

Hmmm...I don't know about this one - he looks younger than Stephen A. does, and he's supposed to look a *little* older. He DOES have a gorgeous face, though!!

Besides Issac is blond and Karl just looks better with dark hair. hmmm how about Chris Hemsworth http://www.imdb.com/media/rm208278041... yes, that will do... I can see him with a sword.

Chris Patt (chris_patt) | 51 comments I think that maybe I want Thomas Jane for Shannon. He would give that strong father figure for Brig, and I bet he looks great in boots.

Since I am being forced to change Rein I choose Hayden Christensen. I think, I reserve the right to vacillate, I really still want Ben. (or Orlando Bloom, but that seems too obvious)

So sadly I think that Jeremy Renner would look too old to be Hamilton :-( What about Wes Bentley?

this is hard LOL *sigh*

Okay - so I LOVE Thomas Jane for Shannon. And Shannon reappears in the fourth book, so it's definitely an important character to cast! *wink*

NOOOOO, not Hayden Christensen!! I'm so prejudiced here - I'll never be able to think of him as anything but The Future Mr. Darth Vader! (Ohmygosh, he probably hates it when people say that. I'm a terrible person.)

It's so funny that you mention Orlando - we just watched Pirates with the kiddos last night and I was reminded what a fun actor he is to watch. There's definitely potential there.

Hamilton is a bit older than Rein, but I get your point about JR. I think Wes Bentley is a fine choice! The dark hair's just right.

Links for those of you who don't know who these fellas are ('cause I didn't recognize all the names at first):

Hayden Christensen http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=h...

Orlando Bloom http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=h...

Chris Patt (chris_patt) | 51 comments dammit woman you are killin' me ;-) Hayden has that looking up to you with head still down look DOWN> A must have for my beloved... I mean Rein. But fine fine whatever... back to work! And honestly when I told Liz how much I liked the book (she was the one who sent me to them) I told her Rein was your "Legolas" (hot blond with a bow), So I feel guilty using Orlando... Give me an overly obsessive minute to regroup.

Okay, first of all, I had no idea Liz had read Shrilugh, or that she was recommending it to people. This totally makes my day because I small kine adore her. *happy sigh*

I think we're close to finding the right Rein...just dig down deep, give it 110% and all that crap. *grin*

Hey, how's your weekend going?

Chris Patt (chris_patt) | 51 comments dang it I want this man... http://www.imdb.com/media/rm155678848... I mean for Rein... yeah for Rein.

Ummm ok it can not be Jenson Ackels no matter how much I love him http://www.fanpop.com/clubs/jensen-ac...

it can not be Brian Smith (too Briggy) http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1668284/?r...

it can not be Anton Yelchin (too young) http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0947338/

it can not be Henry Hopper, he is to yum, I mean young http://www.zimbio.com/photos/Henry+Ho...

it can not be Chris Pines because Rein's middle name will never be Tiberius. http://comicrelated.com/news/18651/ch...

*sigh*
